Abstract: Provided is a supporter in which it is possible to prevent floating of the supporter from the back portion of a wearer of the supporter in an upper side and a lower side of a back-contact section having a wide width and reliably support the waist portion of the wearer. The supporter 100 comprises: a band-shaped body section 10 provided with a back-contact section 11 which is brought into contact with the back portion of a wearer, and protruding sections 12 protruding to the right and left from both sides of the back-contact section 11; a pair of right and left auxiliary band sections 31 and 32 fixed so as to intersect one another in the vicinity of an upper side 11a of the back-contact section 11; a pair of right and left adjustment band sections 51 and 52 loosely inserted into annular rings 41 and 42 respectively disposed at the auxiliary band sections 31 and 32; and a band-shaped support band section 70 fixed to the vicinity of a lower side 11b of the back-contact section 11.

Abstract: A garment structure is provided to lift glutei and thin hips. The structure includes a belt, a front part, and a rear part joined to the front part by leg side seams and inner thigh seams. The rear part includes at least two polygon-shaped deformable elastic bands. Each deformable elastic band has a side joined to a leg side seam and a side joined by a final lower seam part arranged into the cleft between the glutei and affecting the inner thigh seam. The bands are linked starting from an adjoining point of the inner side seam to at least a point lying in the area under the line passing through the center of the glutei.

Sports wear 1 having a pelvis supporting section 2 and an anchor section 6, wherein the pelvis supporting section 2 comprises a material with 3-6 times the tensile strength of the material of the clothing other than the pelvis supporting section 2, and holds and supports the pelvis of the wearer, the anchor section 6 is situated on the back side of the sports wear 1 and connects the pelvis supporting section 2 to a fixed part 3 on the back rise line or front rise line, and the pelvis supporting section 2 and anchor section 6 together function to prevent forward tilting of the pelvis of the wearer.

Abstract: Devices and methods for improved lumbar-pelvic-hip support for active individuals are provided. Devices can include a body having tapered ends for fastening said body about a user's torso. X shaped members can be configured to bisect the body. A longitudinal reinforcement member can be configured to bisect one or more X shaped members and a pair of elastic straps can be connected to the body for providing lumbar-pelvic-hip support to a user.

Abstract: A body-shaping intimacy garment for a woman has an upper portion that supports or at least contacts undersides of the breasts while leaving the breasts exposed, a torso portion extending from the upper portion, a lower portion that encircles the waist, buttocks and hips while defining a crotch opening through the garment for access during intimate encounters, and leg portions that extend to below the knee. The torso portion, lower portion and leg portions each include respective portions of inner and outer layers of stretchable fabrics. The inner layer fabric is worn stretched about the torso, waist, buttocks, hips and legs, with tension in shoulder straps maintaining some inner layer stretch along the torso portion while worn.

Abstract: According to the present girdle 1, when a wearer walks and a leg is moved backward, a forward load is applied to gluteus maximus muscle by a first tightening portion. Then, a reflective action of a muscle (muscle stimulation) to resist this load acts on the gluteus maximus muscle, and then the leg is moved further backward, resulting in a wearer's waist being twisted backward greatly. Further, a forward load is applied to elevated gluteus medius muscle by this backward waist twisting by a second tightening portion, resulting in the waist being twisted forward this time. Then, such a waist twisting motion is enhanced, which necessarily trains the wearer's groups of abdominal muscles, and a shape-up effect of the periphery of abdominal region may be obtained without the wearer performing intentional exercises.

Abstract: A three-component band has two outer rows of tighter contraction than a middle row which may be offset from the tops of the outer rows in order to provide a groove or recess. Stitching or the like may be sewn into the groove or recess and the top of such stitching may be flush with the tops of the outer two rows. In some instances no groove, recess or stitching are resorted to. The outer two rows are of generally greater contraction than the middle row such that the middle row may flex to a greater degree than the outer rows thereby forming a band for association with garments including hats, caps and underwear or the like. A moisture absorbing material, such as cotton, may be used in conjunction with the three-component band in order to provide absorption for perspiration or other moisture. A hat of generally non-stretchable and stretchable material may be attached to the three-component band.

The two front panels cross each other and are removeably attached near the opposite side panel to provide uplifting and constraining forces for the torso of the wearer. The front panels comprise at least one band of elastic material removeably secured to the side panels at particular locations to provide the desired lift and constraining configuration.

Abstract: A fabric laminate (10) comprises first and second stretch fabrics (11 and 12) having an intermediate adhesive securement layer (13) between them. The adhesive securement layer (13) is in the form of a regularly repeated pattern which comprises an array of aligned adhesive elements (14) arranged in successive generally horizontally and vertically extending rows. The array of adhesive elements (14) is capable of offering resistance to elongation as the laminate (10) is subjected to distortion, with the pattern having a differential elongation characterized as offering different magnitudes of resistance to elongation when the fabric laminate (10) is subjected to distortion in selected different directions.

Abstract: A fabric laminate is disclosed which is formed of stretch fabrics laminated together by an integrally formed adhesive web having differential stretch characteristics. One or both of the stretch fabrics may include elastomeric yarn. The adhesive web is placed within the laminate with its primary elongation direction being in a predetermined direction, in conjunction with the orientation of the primary elongation directions of the fabrics, such that the resultant elongation characteristics of the laminate is combinedly determined by the fabrics and the web as well as the predetermined orientation of their primary elongation directions. The laminate may be used for forming the control panel of women's undergarments, such as the stomach, thigh or rear control support of a panty, or the undercup or side support of a brassiere. The adhesive web which unites the two fabrics forming the laminate is a open net-like film of heat sensitive adhesive which may be formed of a polyamide material.
