Abstract: In accordance with some embodiments, clothing ensembles are disclosed. In addition, swimsuit ensembles, and techniques for changing a style of a swimsuit ensemble, are disclosed. In accordance with some embodiments, a clothing ensemble is disclosed that includes a swimsuit top with attachment members, a swimsuit bottom, and a midriff garment with attachment members configured to attach to the attachment members of the swimsuit top.

Abstract: In general, the present invention relates to a high back body shaper and universal bra attachment. Specifically, the present invention provides a body shaper having an optional high back and optional crotch flap/closure. The body shaper can have or accommodate any type of (universal) attachment mechanism that allows for attachment of any type of bra. In a typical embodiment, the attachment mechanism comprises a set (at least one) of clips that discretely clip to the bra of a wearer. When the two articles are attached, the attachment mechanisms are hidden. In addition, no gap is present between the band of the bra (e.g., the band around the back of the wearer) and the body shaper when the two are attached. This type of attachment is referred to herein as a gapless connection/intersection. The gapless attachment minimizes lines and prevents unsightly skin bulges and prevents the body shaper from sliding down the back of a wearer.

Abstract: An adhesive device for securing clothing is provided. The adhesive device includes a flexible substrate having opposing faces. Each opposing face has an adhesive deposited thereon forming a first adhesive surface and an opposing second adhesive surface. An aperture is formed in a central portion of the adhesive device.

Abstract: A maternity body support worn for correcting a woman's posture that includes an expandable body shell with a lower torso section, an upper torso section, a back section, and an abdominal opening. Mounted on the body shell is a pair of lower anchors located on opposite sides of the body, a pair of upper anchors located near the upper lateral region of the chest, a pair of elastic first support straps, and a pair of elastic second support straps. The first support straps attach to the lower anchors and then extend upward and around the back and coupled to the opposite shoulder complexes. The second support straps extend between the lower and upper anchors on each side of the body. The body shell, the two pairs of anchors and the two pairs of straps support the body and simultaneously rotate the opposite pelvis backwards and move the opposite shoulder complexes towards the mid-line.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a composite support system comprising a body garment and a brassiere portion. The body garment has an upper edge along which is provided one, or more than one first fastener. The brassiere portion has at least a bra base, two breast supporting cups each with a lower edge, and one, or more than one second fastener along the lower edge of the breast supporting cups, along the bra base, or any combination thereof. The second fastener is complementary to the first fastener. The complementary joining of the one, or more than one first and second fasteners reversibly attaches the lower edge of the breast supporting cups, the bra base, or a combination thereof, of the brassiere portion to the upper edge of the body garment.

Abstract: An adjustable fastener includes a male part and a female part, both of which are preferably made of soft pliable, sewable plastic. The female fastener part preferably has two or more spaced apart openings. Each having a broad portion and a narrow portion. The male fastener part has a base with an upstanding riser with a flange at the end of the riser. The female fastener part is made of a single thin wall which is sewn to the fabric of the garment. The base of the male part is also made of a single thin wall which is sewn to the fabric of the garment. The single wall construction of the female fastener part makes it more flexible, less easily seen, and not felt so much by the wearer. The female fastener part is provided with a bend between the openings so that it lies flat against the back when the male and female parts are coupled to the tightest position. The center of the riser of the male part is offset from the center of the flange.

Abstract: A fabric securing system having a strip of flexible material for securing two pieces of fabric or clothing is disclosed. The system has at least a portion of one of its sides containing an adhesive material. Both sides of the system may contain an adhesive portion.

Abstract: The invention relates to a maternity undergarment having a brassiere and a rectangular abdominal support section. The above combination further includes a means to detachably connect the brassiere section to abdominal section, and the connecting means includes four adjustable strap members connected to and extending from the corners of the abdominal section and the bottom front and near edges of the brassiere section.
