Abstract: A radiation shield cover for covering a radiation shield of an X-ray system, the cover comprising cover sides; a cover bottom at the bottom of the cover sides configured to prevent contact of the radiation shield with a patient; a connection mechanism for connecting the cover to a radiation detector and/or a radiation source, and/or the radiation shield of the X-ray system; and a deployment mechanism configured to retract and/or extend the shield cover when the radiation shield retracts and/or extends, or thereafter.

Abstract: A compression pad designed for the Mons pubis area to facilitate a quicker recovery of a patient who has had a tummy tuck or liposuction procedure, which results in a swelling of the Mons pubic region of the body, is disclosed. This compression pad is designed to fit comfortably inside a post operative garment of varying designs to include fajas to compress the skin in this area resulting in a alleviation of swollen tissue, edema, fluid and an esthetic appearance. The compression pad has an elevation of reinforcement areas to relieve the swelling by compression when placed in between a post operative compression garment at the Mons pubis region of the human body. The compression is minimizes the fluid and swelling in the Mons pubis area relieving the patient of the soreness, swelling, and enlargement of the Mons pubis area.

Abstract: An intimate skin conditioner veil, configured to be positioned in an undergarment so that it covers the mons pubis in front of the anterior labia commissure of a female user, without covering any part of the vulval vestibule area of the user, wherein the veil has a longitudinal central line extending in the longitudinal direction thereof, and a first extension in the longitudinal direction, between a front end and a rear end of the veil, and a second extension in a transverse direction perpendicular to the longitudinal central line, and wherein the veil includes a front edge and first and second side edges, and a main portion having a length in the longitudinal direction of the veil, the veil has a total longitudinal length. The length of the main portion is at least 50% of the total longitudinal length of the veil.

Abstract: The present invention Cushion Cover is a thin reusable soft fabric cover to be fitted around the waist of the patient which will preserve dignity and ensure privacy when wearing hospital gowns open in the rear. It is used by adult and children. Adults size (drawstring: 60 inches long; fabric 45 inches in width and 17 inches in length) (FIG. 1); children size (drawstring: 35 inches long; fabric 25 inches in width and 13 inches in length)(FIG. 2). Adults size are one size fits all. Children size are one size fits all. The article will cover only the buttocks of the patient and does not restrict doctor's exam to patient's lower body. The article will not interfere during radiological exams or treatments.

Abstract: A thigh anti-chafing garment to be worn with ordinary undergarments as a supplemental undergarment. The thigh anti-chafing garment includes sleeve members for removably and adjustably positioning around the thighs of a human. The sleeve members are adjustably suspended from a belt or other support adjustably positioned around the waist of the wearer by a plurality of additional supports or straps which are connected between the belt and the sleeve members.

Abstract: A pair of substantially identical garments are adapted to be worn on each upper thigh to protect the thighs against irritation due to friction when they are rubbed together during walking, running, exercising, etc. The garment comprises a tube of elastomeric cloth material having an upper end and a lower end. The upper end has a larger diameter than the lower end. The length of the garment along its central axis between the upper and lower end is less than approximately eleven inches and is preferably in the range of six to ten inches. Either the garment or separate pantyhose or underwear can be provided with padding between the inner thighs to further protect against skin irritation due to friction when the thighs rub against each other.

Abstract: A privacy accessory 10 to be worn underneath a conventional hospital gown 100 having a rear opening 101 which normally exposes the buttocks area of a patient. The privacy accessory 10 includes a cover member 20 dimensioned to cover the buttocks area of the patient and a pair of strap members 30 dimensioned to encircle the user's torso beneath the hospital gown 100 and position the cover member 20 over the buttocks area of the patient.
