Abstract: A bra includes at least one cup. A sling is disposed adjacent the cup. The sling is disposed adjacent the cup in facing relation with a user of the bra. The sling includes a first layer deposed to be in contact with the skin of the user when the bra is worn; the first layer wicking moisture away from the skin of the user. A second layer of the wicking member is disposed on a surface of the first layer away from the skin contacting surface of the first layer. The second layer trapping moisture received from the first layer. A third layer is disposed on a surface of the second a layer which is away from the first layer and is a moisture barrier, preventing moisture from travelling therethrough.

Abstract: An adjustable brassiere includes a pair of cup parts, a base part supporting the cup parts, a back part, and straps. Each cup part has, on its back surface, an underbust adjustment pocket and a volume adjustment pocket. The base part is continuous with the cup parts and has a stretchable skin-side base part and a front-side base part that are layered. The front-side base part includes a wire insertion part that has substantially the same curve as a curve of a lower edge of the cup part on a front surface. The skin-side base part and the front-side base part are fixed to each other at the front center tops, side edges, and a lower end, and the cup lower edge of the skin-side base part and the wire insertion part of the front-side base part are not fixed to each other, except for both ends thereof.

Abstract: Existing brassieres fail to provide adequate comfort and lift to many women with breasts of size C cup and larger. The invention is a cushiony pad which is attached via a flap to the inside of a brassiere cup. When donning the brassiere, the woman inserts the pad into the inframammary fold, between the underside of the breast and the chest. The pad acts as a platform for the breast, allowing the breast to rest on top of it, lifting the breast up and providing comfort and support.

Abstract: A removable insert for use with a brassiere includes a body having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. At least a portion of the second surface is configured to provide removable attachment to a user's skin. A mechanical connection associated with the body is configured to provide removable attachment of the body to the brassiere. The first surface is disposed adjacent the brassiere when the body is attached to the brassiere.

Abstract: The present disposable push up bra liner consists of a pair of bra cup pads and a center pad, each having an adhesive side for removably attaching said pad to a bra and an absorptive side composed of four separate layers. The present invention provides a novel and comfortable means for absorbing excessive perspiration around the bra line in order to avoid unsightly stains on the wearer's surrounding clothing and odors. The present invention is simple to use, easy to install, and may be freely disposed of at any point. The disposable bra liner further provides vertical support for a wearer's breasts, essentially converting any conventional bra into a push-up bra.

Abstract: This discrete, easily accessible, and selectively introduced and selectively removed pocket holds, e.g., keys, cash, credit cards, metro cards, cosmetics, valuables, or other accessories. The pocket is worn in the interior of a brassiere cup or bathing suit top to provide convenience and safety and is shaped and contoured appropriately to the interior of such garment. The pocket can be used with any brassiere and is held in place with a plurality of attaching members, including but not limited to magnets. The pocket is alternately and easily removed from an article of clothing, even in public, and worn as a sachet around the wrist.

A women's garment with cup parts has a pair of cup parts, each cup part having a first shaping region for covering a nipple and pressing a breast at the time of putting the cup part on the breast and a second shaping region, located lower than the first shaping region, for pressing the breast, the second shaping region having a volume larger than that of the first shaping region, the cup part having a top on a front face side residing within the first shaping region when seen from the front face side. While the second shaping region pushes the breast up, the first shaping region further presses the pushed-up breast, so the bust top positions look higher, while the breasts appear larger in volume.

Abstract: A pouch to be placed into a brassiere and in other garment locations. The pouch consists of several layers of cotton fabric and neoprene fabric materials. At least one layer of neoprene fabric creates the base layer of the pouch. At least two layers of a cotton fabric material overlaps with neoprene fabric in a location which is about three-quarters from the edge of the pouch to form an entrance into said pouch for the placing of a thermal gel pack therein. The neoprene fabric layer is for the insulation of the thermal gel pack from the environment. The thermal gel pack inside the pouch, creates the thermal brassiere push up, which when worn in a brassiere cup provides a lift of the breast, enhances the woman's cleavage and provides concealed thermal comfort.

Abstract: A brassiere is provided having a pair of breast-receiving cups, each cup comprising at least one fabric layer molded to at least one foam layer, and an inner breast-receiving side and a lower periphery and an upper periphery. A first shaped pocket is formed on the breast-receiving side having a slit formed therein. A first shaped cushion conforming substantially to the shape of the pocket is removably insertable into the pocket to provide breast enhancement to a wearer.

Abstract: A post-surgery bra is disclosed. The bra is for use by a patient after breast surgery. The bra includes an inner lining, an outer decorative layer, and a partial cup portion disposed between the layers. The partial cup portion is preferably made of a molded foam, and does not extend above the apex of the cup position of the bra. Thus, the bra helps prevent irritation of sore areas and remains cooler over the upper cup area. In various embodiments, the seems are inverted to prevent an abrasive edge from forming. A pocket is provided on the inner portion of the cup area for a prosthesis. Ideally, a wide lower band is provided to help hold the bra in place, and for comfort.

Abstract: A micro-current massaging brassiere pad includes a flexible pad, a controller mounted in the pad and having a control IC for outputting a pulse waveform and two lead wires for connection to the positive pole and the negative pole of a power source respectively, an electrically insulative outer cover layer covered on the outer side of the pad, and an inner cover layer covered on the inner side of the pad for direct contact with one breast of a female user, the inner cover layer having two isolated conducting zones respectively connected to the two lead wires of the controller such that when electricity is connected through the lead wires of the controller, a medium or low frequency pulse is discharged through the inner cover layer to stimulate the breast of the female user.

The brassiere cup comprises an outer fabric layer having a lower peripheral portion, and an inner liner fabric layer having a lower peripheral portion. A breast enhancement insert having upper and lower peripheral portions and inner and outer surfaces is attached along the lower peripheral portions of the outer fabric layer and the inner liner layer, the upper peripheral portion and the inner and outer surfaces of the insert being substantially unattached. The breast enhancement insert comprises a padding material encapsulated within a fabric cover.

The breast uplift support assembly (10) consists of a right uplift support (12) and a left uplift support (13). Each of the uplift supports (12,13) have inner and outer adjustable straps (24,42,25,43), inner and outer length adjustment means (26,44,27,45), inner and outer support attachment means (28,46,29,47), and inner and outer brassiere attachment means (30,48,31,48). Each uplift support (12,13) is designed to fit onto and be adjustably attached to the lower section of one of the brassiere's respective support cups (72,78), thereby providing an increase in the lifting and support capabilities of the brassiere (70).

Abstract: Disclosed in this specification is a range of push up bras. The range comprises different bra cup sizes, and offers a different amount of padding for different cup sizes in the same range. The different padding provided facilitates a better tailoring of the bra to the body type of the wearer. The padding occupies a decreasing area of the cup as the cup size increases. The centre of the padding is also gradually lowered with increasing cup size.

Abstract: A lifting and shaping system for a bra or other garment uses lift platforms shaped to fit into the cups of the bra and formed from thin material. The lift platforms are attached to the garment toward the center of the garment. Connectors having one end attached to the lift platform and the other end attached to a slide on the shoulder strap adjust the lift of the lift platform when the slide is moved. Flexible shaping members distribute the lift of the lift platforms and maintain the natural shape of the breasts as they are lifted. Smoothing shields ease the movement of the lift platforms and connectors within the cloth confines of the breast cups. The flexible shaping members may also perform some of the functions of a smoothing shield.

Abstract: A system to aid in ultrasound scanning of breast tissue includes a fabric covering, which is adapted to hold the breast tissue in place during scanning, an ultrasonic coupling agent applied to one of the covering or the breast tissue, and a lenticular-shaped pad to cover the nipple of the breast tissue. The pad is placed beneath and held in place by the fabric covering, and the covering is capable of absorbing the coupling agent and conducting ultrasonic energy with minimal interference.

Abstract: Systems and methods for polishing a substrate with reduced contamination are described. Moist air is directed to one or more surfaces in proximity to the polishing surface and exposed to airborne slurry particles generated during polishing. By maintaining the atmosphere in the vicinity of the exposed surfaces at an elevated relative humidity level, airborne slurry particles adhering to the exposed surfaces remain in suspension and, therefore, may be easily cleaned, e.g., during a high pressure rinse cycle. This feature reduces the likelihood that slurry particles will accumulate on exposed surfaces of the polishing apparatus and flake off while a substrate is being polished, reducing the likelihood of substrate defects caused by such slurry contamination.

Abstract: Various embodiments of perspiration absorbent pads for female breasts are provided, which are particularly adapted for placement between the overlying breast and the adjacent surface of the chest to preclude skin-to-skin contact and to absorb perspiration in that area. The pads may comprise generally cylindrical absorbent devices, having either random fiber or other fill material therein or a rolled sheet of absorbent material. Such cylindrically shaped pads provide for moisture absorption and also provide some uplifting of the breast to produce the appearance of a fuller bust line. Other embodiments comprise a relatively thin and flat pad, having a non-slip outer sheet of material, a moisture impervious layer, a thin moisture absorbent layer, and another layer to transfer moisture to the moisture absorbent layer. The relatively thin pads may also include a relatively thicker portion similar to the cylindrical pads, to provide greater absorption properties and uplift.

Abstract: An improved brassiere includes a pair of fabric breast cups and straps, interconnecting said breast cups and maintaining a spaced apart relationship therebetween, for enabling the breast cups to be worn by a user. Breast pillows are provided for augmenting and uplifting a user's breasts with the breast pillows being formed from a breast implant type gel for simulating breast tissue of the user. The gel is a washable fabric and has a crescent shape with a generally flat top portion sized for uplifting the user's breasts. A pocket in a lower half of each breast cup is provided for receiving the breast pillows. The pockets are sized and positioned, in the breast cups, in order to enable the flat top portions, of the breast pillows, to engage an underside of each of the user's breasts for uplifting thereof.

Abstract: A light weight, fitted prosthetic garment comprising in combination a generally cylindrical body-encircling member on each side of the top front of the body-encircling member is a rounded flap corresponding to the two breast positions of the wearer; on the inside of each rounded flap is a pocket member for holding artificial breast members; attached at the top of each rounded flap is a shoulder strap each looped back and each attached at the rear of the body-encircling member, said shoulder straps being spaced at the rear at approximately the same distance apart as at the front of the garment.
