Abstract: Provided is a brassiere that can keep the movement of the breasts and reduce fastening while maintaining the shape of the breasts. A brassiere 1 includes: left and right cup bodies 10 for holding the breasts; left and right upper supporting bodies 20 which are hung around the shoulders of a human body while being connected with the upper ends of the cup bodies 10 at one end; left and right lower supporting bodies 30 for supporting the lower ends of the cup bodies 10, the upper ends thereof being connected with the lower ends of the cup bodies 10 and extending in the left-right direction while rising obliquely upward at a predetermined angle in a curved shape.

Abstract: A breast support garment. The garment comprises right and left fabric panels for overlying the woman's right and left breasts, with a relatively flat configuration when the garment is not worn. A first variable-length material strip extends from the right panel beginning at a region between the breasts, continuing along a lower region of the right breast and terminating along a side-facing surface of the right breast. A second variable-length material strip extends as the first material strip but relative to the left breast. A portion of the first material strip comprises an elastic material and they expand when the garment is worn to allow the wearer's breasts to be received within cups formed in the right and left panels. The garment provides lifting and upwardly-directed forces on the right and left breasts as the first and second material strips attempt to return to their relaxed state.

Abstract: A device that supports a breast pump in a “hands-free” manner is disclosed. The device includes a cover with an opening and strap that connects the cover to an article of clothing such as a nursing bra. When connected, the device securely orients a breast shield of a breast pump over the breast of a user.

Abstract: The present invention provides a bra that is preferably formed of seamless construction and that includes structural components that allow for accommodating changes and variations in bust size. In particular, the inventive bra can be used during times of maternity when breast volume is known to increase over a short time. The bra comprises expansible cups with interchangeable, formed support and shape elements that can be placed into pockets formed in the expansible cups. In certain embodiments, the invention also provides a bra for use when breast feeding, the bra comprising a drop-down panel.

Abstract: The important feature of this invention is the breast cups. Each breast cup having a circumferential perimeter with a sewn in drawstring chamber about the entire circumferential perimeter; a drawstring secured within the drawstring chamber; a drawstring having a first end entering the chamber at an upper inside top edge of each breast cup at a base of an attached shoulder strap; the drawstring circumferentially surrounding the cup through a chamber and having a second end exiting at the bottom of the shoulder strap and a locking cord lock fastener to tighten and lock the drawstring to adjust the breast cups about a wearer's breast. The Drawstring Breast Cups are designed to offer the large breasted and overly heavy breasted females better support and the illusion of smaller breast size look. However, it is also suitable for the smaller breasted females seeking the illusion of fuller breast size look.

Abstract: A brassiere includes a support portion (straps, sides, back, etc.) for supporting the brassiere on the human body, and two cups joined to the support portion. At least one of the two cups includes an additional elastic portion that is adapted to exercise an elastic retention effect on an oedema of the breast held in the cup. This additional elastic cup portion, which is preferably placed on the exterior of the cup, is adapted to have, in a slacked or unstretched state, a surface area smaller than the cup and a depth smaller than the cup. The additional elastic cup portion is attached solely along its periphery to the periphery of the cup.

Abstract: The present invention provides an adjustable underwire support bra especially suited for larger breasted women. The bra is designed to allow a wearer to create their own most comfortable fit by independently adjusting inner and outer cup support straps. The bra is also designed with a centerpiece in which to embed the underwire to prevent the underwire from slipping or from poking through the fabric causing discomfort to the wearer and/or fabric wear.

Abstract: A post-operative brassiere for use by female patients following cardio-thoracic surgery is disclosed. The post-operative brassiere includes a first breast support cup and a second breast support cup being interconnected by a support strap which is worn about the neck and shoulders of the wearer so as to form an open gap between the first and second breast support cups over the area of the wearer's sternum whereon a surgical incision is located. The conventional torso encircling straps which overlie the sternum in brassieres of the prior art are eliminated. The post-operative brassiere allows access to the incision for routine examination and nursing care while providing adequate support to the wearer's breasts. In one embodiment the breast support cups include elastic panels disposed about the peripheral edges thereof to secure the same in position.

Abstract: An inner bust control portion of a swimsuit includes an elasticized fabric band that completely encircles the chest. A stretchy elastic horizontal strip is attached at its upper margin, and another at its lower margin, so that the band is pulled up against the chest. Two vertical elastic strips, one at the side of each breast extends from upper to lower horizontal elastic strips. At least one midline vertical elastic strip separates the breasts so that pockets are formed within the fabric band bounded by the elastic strips. The upper margin of the inner bust control portion is attached to the upper margin of the outer fabric of the swimsuit. In an alternative embodiment of the invention, the midline vertical elastic strip or strips are replaced by a drawstring.

Abstract: The present invention teaches a maternity and nursing bra incorporating a one-handed fastening method that inherently allows for a stronger cup support and variable adjustment of cup size. It is accomplished by affixing parts of a fastener to the inside of an inner cup (17) to an inner band (15). Also incorporated into the inside of the inner cup (17) is an optional use nursing pad pocket (18). The bra's variable strap width adjusting band (12) and the relocatable shoulder straps (10) enables the bra to be worn with a variety of outer garment styles.

Abstract: A brassiere is disclosed having a size and configuration adjustment mechanism which includes a separable fastener having first and second linear elements. The first element is attached to the vertical centerline of the brassiere. The second element has a fixed end and a free end, with the fixed end attached to the brassiere at a position along the centerline of the garment. The second element of the fastener is connectable at selected locations along the first element of the fastener to affect the vertical height of the centerline of the brassiere, whereby the selective positioning of the second element along the first element reduces the cup size in both the vertical and horizontal directions.
