The connector may connect to a back band of a bra assembly and the fasteners affixed to the extension may connect to another back band of the bra assembly. The connections may be made in a manner that allows for a reduced girth of the bra from a smallest girth possible utilizing existing coupling systems of the bra.

Abstract: A breast crease comforter decreases pain and promotes healing during and after radiation therapy to the breast. The skin crease between the breast and the torso is typically exposed to daily friction, sheer, and moisture. When the breast is also compromised by radiation therapy, these various insults may combine to cause skin breakdown and excoriation, including resultant pain. The breast crease comforter intervenes between the underside of the breast and the torso to protect and pad this sensitive crease area when compromised by radiation therapy. The breast crease comforter may also be used to treat other conditions besides vulnerable skin resulting from radiation therapy to the breast or torso. The breast crease comforter may also be combined with the bottom of a conventional bra.

An embodiment comprises an inner liner and outer panel, an internal breast band sleeve, and a breast band slidably retained within the sleeve. The breast band has a fastener enabling the breast band length to be adjusted; the breast band is adjustable vertically and horizontally. Embodiments hold the breasts down with the breast band slidably retained within the garment, providing support and protecting the wearer from discomfort or injury from excessive upward and downward breast movement. The breast band alleviates upward and downward movement of the breasts and does not cinch, flatten or compress the wearer's breasts against the chest wall, nor lift and bold the breasts. The garment is attractive and can be worn alone or under another garment.

Abstract: A releasing device for easy, quick and simultaneous disengaging of fasteners on garments that employ hook and loop fasteners. It is comprised of a releasing member affixed to an end portion of a side bra strap and is suitable for bras which have one or more hook and loop fasteners. The releasing member has a tab-like shape and a substantially rigid body with a handle element at one end and is of sufficient size and shape for use by hand. An axis of rotation is created along an edge of the releasing member by being affixed to the bra strap. Simultaneous releasing of the hooks from their mating loops is achieved by rotating the releasing member about its axis of rotation.

The head parts (12a) and (16a) of the male and female engaging devices (12) and (16) are exposed to an outside through slits (13).

A stiff bar extending transversely of the centerline is fixed to the second patch and concave toward a wearer of a brassiere having the wings. One of the patches is of a shape that is longest parallel to the centerline than transversely offset therefrom so that it reduces longitudinal elastic deformation of the respective wing end at the centerline more than offset therefrom.

The female fastener part preferably has two or more spaced apart openings. Each having a broad portion and a narrow portion. The male fastener part has a base with an upstanding riser with a flange at the end of the riser. The female fastener part is made of a single thin wall which is sewn to the fabric of the garment. The base of the male part is also made of a single thin wall which is sewn to the fabric of the garment. The single wall construction of the female fastener part makes it more flexible, less easily seen, and not felt so much by the wearer. The female fastener part is provided with a bend between the openings so that it lies flat against the back when the male and female parts are coupled to the tightest position. The center of the riser of the male part is offset from the center of the flange.

Abstract: An assembled brassiere includes two cups, a joint, and a belt device. The joint is connected between the two cups. Two ends of the belt device are connected to the two outer sides of the cups. A plurality of buckle devices are used to connect the two cups, belt device and joint so that the two cups, joint and belt device are detachably assembled as a brassiere. The assembled brassieres are suitable for various sizes of women's breasts by assembling the cups, joint, belt device and shoulder belts. The manufacturers do not need to prepare a large amount of stocks for manufacturing the brassieres. Customers may buy the different parts of the assembled brassiere so as to assemble the parts to form a brassiere. When one part of the assembled brassiere is destroyed, it can be brought singly without needing to desert the whole brassiere.

This raises the interlocking locking portions away from the back of the wearer to increase comfort. Additionally, the hooks include opposed angled guide surfaces. The opposed angled guide surfaces each have a parallel guide surface on an adjacent hook.

Abstract: A process for promoting bonding between a person such as a working mother and an infant or young child is disclosed. A garment is worn in contact with the skin of the person to whom bonding is to be promoted, such as in contact with a person's torso. The garment is comprised of a material which absorbs odor from the body. A fastening mechanism (24) attaches the garment to the body for a time sufficient to retain the odor. The worn garment is attached to a garment support (50) with the fastening mechanism sufficiently close to the infant so that the infant may smell the retained odor for a time sufficient to promote bonding.

Abstract: A therepeutic brassiere for supporting breast implants includes breast receiving cups. Each of the cups is formed from a section of body engaging fabric joined together at a common seam. A chest encircling band is joined to the lower marginal edges of the cups for affixing the brassiere to the chest of a wearer. An elastic strip of material, attached to both the upper marginal edges of the cups and to the chest encircling band prevents movement or distortion of the breast implants.
