  • Publication number: 20140302764
Abstract: A solar powered heat-dissipating device used on a car window is configured to straddle on a side window glass of a car and includes a straddling base, two wind-generating units and a solar cell panel. The straddling base straddles on an upper edge of the side window glass. The interior of the straddling base has two separated air channels for allowing air to flow inward and outward of the car respectively. The two wind-generating units are provided in the two air channels respectively. The flowing directions of the airflows respectively generated by the two wind-generating units are opposite to each other. The solar cell panel is disposed on the straddling base to protrude out of the car. The solar cell panel is pivotally connected to the straddling base and rotatable relative to the straddling base for adjusting its inclination angle.

  • Publication number: 20140187139
Abstract: Ventilation device is mounted on inner wall in wind tunnel communicating between indoor and outdoor sides, having a ventilation louver. The ventilation louver includes a louver frame and a movable louver. Horizontal distance from position of gravity center of the movable louver to the inner wall is greater than horizontal distance from the movable louver shaft to the inner wall. A lever is disposed at a lower part of the louver frame to move in a left-right direction along bottom end face of the lower part of the louver frame. A connection element is provided to connect the movable louver with the lever between the movable louver and the louver frame, which is configured to be a slidable structure in the up-down direction, and transform the movement in the left-right direction of the lever to opening and closing movement of the movable louver around the movable louver shaft.

  • Patent number: 8112860
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of treating a glazing panel from an inside location. Moreover, the present invention relates to a method of treating glazing panels used in windows and patio doors. Initially, a hole is formed on both inside and outside panes on windows and on the side and outside frames of patio doors. Next, a filter is attached to the outside pane to cover the hole whereby the filter membrane is designed to allow the passage of air and inhibit the ingress of moisture. Finally, a seal is used to cover the hole on the inside pane or to ensure that the building air does not enter the interior of the glazing panel. Where the panes are tempered glass, the hole(s) may be drilled through the frame. If necessary, one or more tubes may be inserted through the hole. Various kinds of filters are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 6072119
Abstract: The invention relates to a filtering device with a filter housing which can accept a filter mat, is covered with a lamella grid on the outlet side and is fitted in an aperture in a mounting wall. RF screening is attained without altering the structure of the filtering device in that the surface of the filter housing is electrically conductive and inserted in the aperture in the mounting plate via an electrically conductive contact frame. The contact frame is electrically connected to the filter housing and the aperture in the mounting plate and there is an electrically conductive screening grid inserted or mounted in the filter housing or between the latter and a fan which can be linked thereto.

  • Patent number: 5660605
Abstract: A window fan incorporating a filter. The fan has a low, flat profile for fitting in a window while occupying limited viewing area of the window. The fan includes laterally projecting extensions for sealing a gap which might otherwise exist at the right and left sides of the fan. The fan includes a motorized squirrel cage blower for forcing air through a flow path defined within the window fan. The blower is elongated, and oriented with its rotational axis arranged horizontally to enable the low profile. The filter is washable, and is installed by sliding into a holding chamber, and located serially within the air flow path. The window fan has a manually adjustable air deflector for directing discharged air as desired. The electrical circuit conducting power to the motor includes a touch sensitive switch for on-off control, a thermostatic switch for operating the fan when the touch switch is on and a predetermined temperature is detected, a speed selector switch, and an indicating lamp.

  • Patent number: 5379609
Abstract: In an air conditioner having an air filter comprising a frame body and a mesh which are integrally formed, a specific portion 140 of the frame body 132 is wider than the other portions of the frame body, and a support post 130 which is engageable with a latch slot 131 on the main body is disposed at the widened portion, so that even when the joint between the frame body and the mesh is formed away from the support post, the mechanical strength of the post can be maintained. In addition, the width of the joint at the widened portion is substantially equal to that of the other portions of the joint, so that the mesh is uniformly fixed to the frame body.

  • Patent number: 5195869
Abstract: An adjustable adapter, which permits any portable box fan to be operated while sitting on any household windowsill. Many home or apartment windowsills are too narrow (front to back) for the box fan to stand alone. The adapter provides the needed support, even on sills as narrow as 2" or with windows that do not have a vertical sliding sash for support. An adapter assembly (32) consists of a flat rigid base member (12) which is directly connected to the enclosure of a box fan (14) with hook and loop fasteners (10 and 10A). A protruding arm (16) is connected at one end to base member (12). A contact finger (24) on the opposite end of arm (16) is placed into a window frame track (28) to support box fan (14). A secondary protruding arm (16A) is used to retain a window curtain (38) out of the air intake. This is done by placing curtain (38) between arm (16) and arm (16A). Secondary arm (16 A) is also used to instantly support fan (14) when fan (14) is rotated 180.degree. on windowsill (30).
