Baseboard Type Patents (Class 454/246)
  • Patent number: 10466131
Abstract: The present relates to a system and a bidirectional differential pressure sensor. The system and bidirectional differential pressure sensor comprise a first adaptor comprising an end configured to receive a first pipe, and a second adaptor comprising an end configured to receive a second pipe. The system and bidirectional differential pressure sensor further comprise a pressure sensing element determining a pressure differential between fluid received via the first adaptor with respect to fluid received via the second adaptor. The system or bidirectional differential pressure sensor further comprise a processing unit executing an algorithm for generating an adjusted pressure differential based on the pressure differential determined by the pressure sensing element.

  • Patent number: 6370906
Abstract: A wind inlet and outlet case for a blower of an air conditioning system is connected to an inner machine, including a body and a faceplate. The body is separated into a wind inlet room and a wind outlet room with a lengthwise vertical wall, and the wind inlet room and the wind outlet room are respectively connected with the inner machine with a separate guide pipe. The faceplate is combined with the body, having a wind outlet provided with a movable leaf unit to change direction of wind blown out, and with a wind inlet provided with a filter. Thus plural sets of the wind inlet and outlet cases may be connected to the inner machine, wind blown out and wind sucked back are guided separately by guide pipes to keep good quality of air, lowering cost, and facilitating maintenance and repair.

  • Patent number: 5690719
Abstract: A filter apparatus for mounting over an opening at an end of a forced air system duct has a filter frame with sidewalls between open front and back ends and a channel which opens inwardly of the sidewalls. At the front end is a sheet of preferably self charging electrostatic washable filter material behind a grill, both of which are peripherally disposed within the channel and are sized and sufficiently flexible so as to be removably insertable into the channel. A second sheet of a second filter material, preferably including activated charcoal, may be disposed in the channel behind the first sheet of filter material. The filter material may be made of a woven polypropylene and the sheet may have heat sealed finished edges. A wall mount having a support frame for mounting on a wall around the opening which extends through the wall is sized and operable to support the filter frame. The support frame may be mounted to a wall.

  • Patent number: 5181884
Abstract: A ventilating device is removably placed on a baseboard heater having a heated air exit along the top front edge thereof. The ventilating device has a marginal slot forwardly extending above the air exit of the heater and has a blower fan sucking air from the marginal slot and expelling it through apertures in the upper front portion of the ventilating device. The front wall of the ventilating device extends below the top of the heater to prevent unheated ambient air from entering the fan. The blower fan is made of drums with end walls having fan blades and with air outlets around the periphery and with shield members around the drums so as to direct the air in the desired direction. The ventilating device is preferably provided with an air filter and a water reservoir and a water supply which may be removably mounted in the housing of the ventilating device.
