  • Patent number: 9677571
Abstract: A filter fan, with a blower, for fitting in a mounting opening in a wall. The filter fan has a basic casing, a design cover. An aeration grid with lamellar elements is held on the opposed side walls of the design cover and a filter mat is placed between the basic casing and the fan grid. A grid element is placed on the air outlet side of the filter fan for the passage of air above an air outlet. The grid element has an ascending section and a planar section, whereby the ascending section changes into the planar section and a full surface section is provided on the planar section.

  • Patent number: 9163845
Abstract: A garage ventilation system including a housing body with side walls and rear and front mounting plates with louvered vents on the front mounting plates. Support frames vertically disposed on the rear mounting plate have a channel longitudinally disposed therein and a stop body disposed within an outer end thereof. A mount bracket engages each of the channels. Legs disposed on each side of a central pivot member engage the respective channel with termination at the stop body. The mount brackets extend outwardly and away from the rear mounting plate. A fan casing, having a fan disposed therein, is rotatingly mounted to the mount brackets allowing rotation of the fan into an exhaust position and an alternate intake position to direct airflow away from or alternately into a garage. A heater contained within the housing body generates heated airflow directed by the fan.

  • Patent number: 8550888
Abstract: An HVAC (heating, ventilating and air conditioning) damper includes a series of pivotal damper blades that are opened by an air pressure differential across opposite sides of the damper. In some embodiments, a fan discharging against the damper blades provides the necessary air pressure to open the damper. To control how far the damper opens, an actuator moves a variable position abutment that obstructs the damper blades to limit how far they can pivot in the open direction. The position of the abutment is infinitely adjustable to provide the damper with infinite adjustment over a range of open positions. In some embodiments, the abutment applies a unidirectional torque to the damper blades regardless of whether the damper is opening or closing.

  • Patent number: 5800261
Abstract: A device for an air valve, particularly for use with a fresh air inlet through a wall in a habitable room, and wherein the device comprises a receiver consisting substantially of air-tight material, and wherein the receiver is adapted to be tightly attached to the wall around the internal valve opening, and wherein the receiver is divided into an outer chamber and an inner chamber, a connection being established between the chambers. To the receiver is attached a bulb holder having a supply of electrical current for a bulb, so that the fresh air stream flows past the bulb and receives heat therefrom before it leaves the receiver and escapes into the habitable room.

  • Patent number: 5769916
Abstract: A filter ventilator for installation in an opening of a wall of a switchgear cabinet or the like, having a base housing receiving the filter, which is covered with a finned screen and which is connected with a ventilator on a side facing away from the finned screen. For a considerably simplified mounting of the filter ventilator, detent cams are molded on the base housing for fastening the ventilator. The detent cams engage bores in the facing flange of the ventilator. L-shaped holding elements are formed on the base housing which, facing the flange of the ventilator which faces away from the finned screen, have detent cams which engage bores of the flange. The L-shaped holding elements and the base housing form receivers, into which the ventilator, which is placed angularly offset on the base housing, can be rotated to a stop.
