Abstract: A liquid aeration apparatus is a vessel with a neck and an opening that is interconnected to a body. The opening receives a quantity of liquid that is thinned as the liquid is transferred from the neck to the body. The liquid is then collected in the body of the vessel. The body includes at least one tripping mechanism that induces turbulence to the liquid.

Abstract: A system for individualized filtering and scenting of the air of individual rooms of a building which is serviced by a ducted central forced air handling system. The system includes a conventional “tri-louvered” ceiling register and a filtering and scenting element designed to be inserted and removed from said register without the necessity of removing the register from attachment to the ceiling. The filtering and scenting element is a filtration media disposed between layers of supporting frame-work.

Abstract: A heating ventilation and cooling (HVAC) localized air filter assembly system for capturing particulate material and contaminants distributed through HVAC systems. The system includes a least one frame assembly positionable over a HVAC duct and having a front wall and a perimeter wall extending from the front wall. The front wall has at least one opening for facilitating airflow through said frame assembly. Additionally, at least one filter assembly is positionable within the at least one frame assembly. The filter assembly is designed for capturing particulate matter in ambient air being conducted through the HVAC duct.

Abstract: A register cover for a register opening in a floor includes a body with a pair of legs extending from and pivoted to the body. Each of the legs may pivot between extended and retracted positions. The legs are adapted to be inserted into the register opening when the legs are in the retracted position. Another register cover is wrapped around a rigid register vent to protect the vent during construction.

Abstract: A vent device (10) for communicating air from the duct of an air supply system into an environment, such as a room of a building, includes a body (12) having a passageway (18) therethrough for receiving air from the air supply system, with the body (12) defining a first opening (20) for placing the passageway in fluid communication with the air supply system. Also included is a filter housing defining a filter slot (46), the filter housing having an inner wall (50) provided with a plurality of first vent openings (54) for being selectively placed in communication with the passageway of the body. Further, the filter housing has an outer wall provided with a plurality of second vent openings communicating with the filter slot and the room in the building so as to communicate air from the filter slot into the room.

Abstract: A portable humidifier assembly adapted for use in association with a forced air heat vent, the apparatus comprising: an inner frame comprising a rear crossbar, a front crossbar and a plurality of semicircular ribs affixed therebetween, the front crossbar of the inner frame including a coupling device, an outer frame including a rear crossbar, a front crossbar and a plurality of semicircular ribs affixed therebetween, the rear crossbar of the outer frame being hingedly coupled to the rear crossbar of the inner frame, the front crossbar of the outer frame including a coupling device; and a sponge adapted to retain water, in an operative orientation the sponge being soaked with water and placed between the ribs of the inner and outer frames, the sponge being locked in placed by hingedly closing the outer frame upon the inner frame and coupling the front cross bars of the respective frames together.

Abstract: A humidifier is constructed from basic units that have a rigid part supporting a hydrophilic part. A lower portion of a basic unit is disposed in a water-filled canal, and the upper portion is exposed to air, especially heated air from a heater. One embodiment is adapted for placement over a floor outlet for heated air to evaporate water from the canal into the heated air to increase the humidity thereof. This embodiment may be above or just below floor level. Various forms of covers are associated with the units.
