Patent number: 10433521Abstract: A ventilation valve (1; 101) for ventilation of a space for keeping animals or plants includes an opening-defining circumferential framework (3; 103) for mounting in a wall of that space, and a movable panel (5; 105). The panel (5; 105) is movably attached to the framework (3; 103) for relative movement between a fully closed position, in which substantially no air can pass between the framework and the panel, and a fully open position, in which substantially the complete opening is available for passage of air. A profiled edge on the framework provides a non-linear relation between a passage opening and an opening position of the panel (5; 105). Also provided is a system for ventilating the space, having at least a single ventilation valve, and for periodically determining parameters of inside air in the space, and adjusting the opening position of the valve based on the parameters.Type: GrantFiled: May 12, 2015Date of Patent: October 8, 2019Assignee: FANCOM B.V.Inventors: Wouter Bernardus Lambertus Hoolboom, Marcel Leonardus Hubertus Kurstjens

Patent number: 10001316Abstract: An air tower adapted to be located within a compartment of a refrigeration appliance comprises a first plenum chamber in fluid communication with a first compartment of the refrigeration appliance, a second plenum chamber in fluid communication with a second compartment of the refrigeration appliance, a damper connecting the first plenum chamber to the second plenum chamber, and a movable part within the damper configured to be moveable between a first position and a second position. When moved to the first position, the movable part is relatively closer to interior side walls to thereby restrict air flow from the first plenum chamber to the second plenum chamber. When moved to the second position, the movable part is relatively further away from the interior side walls to thereby permit more air flow from the first plenum chamber to the second plenum chamber.Type: GrantFiled: September 25, 2014Date of Patent: June 19, 2018Assignee: Electrolux Home Products, Inc.Inventors: Cory Dale Simpson, Benjamin Mobley, Luis Clasen

Patent number: 7967063Abstract: An air conditioning apparatus has a cool-side door device and a heating-side door device between an evaporator and a heater core. The cool-side door device is configured to open and close a cool air passage through which a cool air generated by the evaporator flows. The heating-side door device is configured to open and close a heating air passage through which the cool air flows to be heated by the heater core. At least one of the cool-side door device and the heating-side door device is constructed of a plurality of doors. The plurality of doors is configured to begin to open successively when being opened from a fully closed condition.Type: GrantFiled: July 1, 2008Date of Patent: June 28, 2011Assignee: Denso CorporationInventors: Hiroyuki Sato, Toshihiko Muraki

Patent number: 7334628Abstract: A control device for gas is provided with a pivotable flap mounted between side walls of a guide duct. A receiving pocket for the insertion of a drive element (motor) is provided on one of the side walls and is oriented in such a way that, after insertion, the output shaft of the drive element is in engagement with the flap. This receiving pocket may be arranged so that the drive element is inserted coaxially with respect to the pivot axis of the flap or transversely thereto, or if the receiving pocket extends into the interior of the duct, the pivot flap is provided with a corresponding cut-out.Type: GrantFiled: May 18, 2001Date of Patent: February 26, 2008Assignee: Behr GmbH & Co.Inventors: Walter Denk, Karl Lochmahr, Eric Reinisch, Klaus Waibel
