Abstract: According to embodiments, priming systems, methods, and devices are disclosed which allow medical treatment devices which pump fluid to be primed with minimal operator intervention and a high level of convenience. A blood circuit with a filter fitted with one or more air vents on a non-blood compartment is attached to a treatment system and priming fluid pumped slowly through the blood circuit in a loop. The source of fluid may be elevated, or the pumping may generate pressure, such that priming fluid is forced through the membrane of the filter and out the air vent(s). In embodiments, the vents are hydrophobic which prevent fluid from being ejected, so the priming system can run without intervention.
Abstract: An omnidirectional vent cap for venting holding tanks is provided. By providing a 360 degree venturi channel, the present invention can use a small movement of air to reduce the air pressure above the exhaust port to draw out vapors or gasses. Since the device is symmetrical about the central axis the movement of air can be from any direction relative to the device.
Abstract: An anticorrosive dust-collecting energy-saving chimney includes a chimney barrel. A hearth spiral line with a helix angle of 10˜80 degrees is arranged on an internal wall of the chimney barrel, and an outlet of an arc flue is arranged at an outside of a bottom of the chimney barrel and in communication with the hearth spiral line. A direction of spiral of the arc flue is the same as a direction of spiral of the hearth spiral line, and the arc flue is smoothly connected to the hearth spiral line.
Abstract: The present invention is directed toward a vent assembly having a vent structure defining at least one vent aperture. The vent assembly includes a vent cap covering the vent aperture or apertures and a vent cover assembly extending around the vent cap and the vent.
In one embodiment, the invention is directed toward a vent cover assembly for use with a vent including a vent cap that covers the vent. The vent cover assembly includes a protective structural member extending around the vent cap. The protective structural member allows for proper air flow into and out of the vent cap.
In another embodiment, the invention is directed toward a vent cover assembly that has an attachment base and a plurality of semi-cylindrical members connected to the attachment base.

Abstract: An apparatus, system and method for improving air entrainment and sound attenuation of gases being discharged from one or more outlet portions of an exhausting device using an acoustic wind band. The acoustical wind band helps improve entrainment of ambient environmental air with the exhaust gases being discharged from the exhausting device resulting in a tight plume of high velocity flow which improves the effective stack height of the exhausting device. This is achieved by positioning the sections of the acoustical wind band in spaced relation thus forming passages that allow outside ambient environmental air to flow into the acoustical wind band to mix with and dilute the exhausting gas. The sections may also be positioned extending upward and inward at an angle to further enhance the entrainment of ambient environmental air with the flow of exhaust gas from the gas exhaust device.
