Patent number: 11207558Abstract: A low friction rehabilitation board having an integral band retaining feature is described. The rehabilitation board may have a coefficient of static friction of no more than about 0.5 and in some embodiments no more than about 0.06. The rehabilitation board has a plurality of band retaining feature configured along one or both ends and may be an integral band retaining features being formed in the board. Additionally, the rehabilitation may include one or more band retaining features on one or both sides of the board. The unique configuration of the band retaining features enables rehabilitation method heretofore not possible with a single board. Resistance bands may be retained in the band retaining features and coupled to a user's limb, such as a foot or ankle, to resist motion, such as sliding or extending the foot along the low friction surface of the rehabilitation board.Type: GrantFiled: May 4, 2020Date of Patent: December 28, 2021Assignee: P.T. Patent number: 8202084Abstract: A method for preventing coagulation in an exhaust pipe of a boiler is provided. The method includes proportionally controlling combustion based on a quantity of supplied fuel with respect to an amount of air supplied to a burner, determining whether to enhance a heating power of a burner, based on a temperature of ambient air introduced into a blower, the temperature of the ambient air being sensed by an air temperature sensor, and enhancing the heating power of the burner to increase a temperature of exhaust gas, when it is determined that the sensed temperature is equal to or lower than a predetermined temperature.Type: GrantFiled: October 17, 2007Date of Patent: June 19, 2012Assignee: Kyungdong Navien Co., Ltd.Inventor: Yong Bum Kim

Patent number: 5957770Abstract: A new vehicle defroster system accessory for increasing efficiency of a windshield defroster. The inventive device includes a pliable, generally rectangular shield having planar inner and outer surfaces. The shield is positioned over defroster vents of a vehicle and in contact with a lower portion of a windshield. A plurality of suctions cups are secured to the inner surface of the shield. The suction cups secure the shield to the windshield. A plurality of nodules are secured to the inner surface of the shield. The plurality of nodules elevate the shield above the windshield to allow passage of warm air therebeneath.Type: GrantFiled: February 26, 1998Date of Patent: September 28, 1999Inventor: Steven C. Patent number: 5551913Abstract: The combined instrument mounting and air conducting housing provides both the instrument mounting and air conduction and distribution in a single compact housing. The housing includes an upper central instrument mounting portion. The housing further includes a generally Y-shaped portion for conduction of air through the housing. The Y-shaped portion includes a lower portion defining an air inlet chamber and an upper portion defining a pair of laterally spaced air distribution channels. The laterally spaced distribution channels are individually disposed at respective laterally outer edges of the upper central instrument mounting portion. The upper ends of the air distribution channels are joined in fluid communication by a connection air channel defined by the upper portion of the housing. Suitable discharge openings and adjustable air discharge vents are provided to direct air in the appropriate directions within the cab.Type: GrantFiled: January 3, 1995Date of Patent: September 3, 1996Assignee: Caterpillar Inc.Inventor: Gary S.
