  • Publication number: 20150031464
Abstract: This patent request addressed to a flexible elastic rotating shaft drive developed for transmission of tri-mechanical power between two points. That it brings as its main characteristics the condition to flex between transmission points to horizontal, vertical, transversal and pendular angles, and also presents the condition of stretching, bending and contracting to the rest starting point, keeping the rotating transmission continuous and intermittent. In which it is formed by a helical spring (2) which works together with a chain (4) fixed in the locking pin (6 and 6a), in its free rotation by bearings (9 and 9a) housed in the support bearing (10 and 10a) forming a compact set.

  • Publication number: 20130040742
Abstract: A coupling for connecting a drive to a load has an input connector that defines with a plurality of radially spaced input attachment points all lying on a common radial plane of a rotation axis and a similar output connector with a plurality of output attachment points. Connecting elements each have one end connected to a respective input attachment point and an opposite end connected to a respective output attachment point by a link joint. The radial spacing of the input attachment points from the input rotation axis and the radial spacing of the output attachment points from the output rotation axis are the same. The input attachment points and the output attachment points coupled to these input attachment points by a connecting element are angularly spaced relative to each other about the input rotation axis by 80° to 100°.

  • Patent number: 7634953
Abstract: A neutral adjustment mechanism for dual lever steering controls. The dual lever steering controls include two levers that are each independently pivotable forward and reverse to drive a zero turning radius mower. The neutral adjustment mechanism includes a control pivot connected to each lever of the dual lever steering controls that pivots with forward and reverse pivoting of each lever. A steering link has a first end with an adjustment point, a ball joint adjacent the adjustment point connecting the steering link to the control pivot, and a second end pivotably connected to an input control lever of a hydrostatic transmission pump. An operator seat may be positioned over the steering links. Under the operator seat, adjustment access holes are provided for adjusting the steering links while the operator seat remains in place.

  • Patent number: 6581666
Abstract: An operating device for window openers, screening arrangement and similar devices comprising an operating rod (6) with a hook-shaped operating elements (5) in its end and a rotatable coupling element (3) connected to said window opener or screening arrangement and having the form of an essentially annular eye with an aperture (8) with an area which is considerably larger than the cross-section of the hook-shaped operating element (5) such that at the insertion of the hook-shaped operating element in said aperture, the coupling element can be turned by means of the operating rod while simultaneously pulling the coupling element, where the annular eye in connection with said aperture (8) comprises a narrowed additional aperture (10) which, at least upon reception of the hook-shaped operating element as a result of said pull, encircles the operating element relatively closely.

  • Patent number: 6186900
Abstract: A flexible shaft comprising a flexible outer tube (10) containing a shaft core with specially designed links (18) that closely fit within the smooth interior of the outer tube (10). The links (18) are substantially rectangular and have construction which limits a flex angle between links. The links (18) may include stop surfaces (17) which limits the flex angle to prevent kinking or limit longitudinal movement of the links (18) with respect to one another.

  • Patent number: 6059664
Abstract: A drive element (10) is provided for coupling together rotatable shafts (12) and (14). The shafts (12) and (14) are able to rotate about their respective longitudinal axes (12A) and (14A). Additionally, the shafts (12) and (14) can pivot relative to each other about a pivot point P which is coincident with the geometric center of the drive element (10). Drive element (10) includes a groove (20) for receiving a tongue (16) of shaft (12); and, a tongue (22) which is seated in a groove (18) formed in shaft (14). Surface (26) of the groove (20) and surfaces (34) on opposite sides of the tongue (22) are shaped so that as the axes of rotation (12A) and (14A) of the shafts (12) and (14) are pivoted relative to each other through a predetermined range of angles the respective loci of closest contact between the shafts (12) and (14) and the pivot point P remains constant.

  • Patent number: 4432874
Abstract: A collecting rope which is intended especially for collecting oil from the surface of water, the rope comprising a drive chain which is situated inside a cylindrical part, which is surrounded by a lightweight float layer, which is surrounded by another cylindrical part, oil-collecting bristles being attached to the outer surface of the outer cylinder. The cylindrical parts can rotate in relation to the drive chain, since the joint between them consists of resilient protrusions on the inner surface of the inner cylinder. The cylinders and the chain are, however, locked to each other in the longitudinal direction.
