  • Patent number: 11655877
Abstract: A torsional vibration damper having improved abrasion resistance at a portion of a rotary member to which a rolling mass is contacted, and a manufacturing method thereof. The torsional vibration damper comprises: a rotary member; an inertia body oscillating around the rotary member; and a retainer formed on the rotary member to hold a rolling mass between a pair of stoppers. A hardness of an inner surface of at least one of the stoppers is increased higher in a radially outer portion than in a radially inner portion, within a reciprocating range of the rolling mass.

Abstract: A damper unit of an internal combustion engine includes an input-side rotor, an output-side rotor, first coiled springs, second coiled springs, an input-side sliding contact surface, and a biasing member. The input-side rotor includes a first spring holder, a second spring holder, and a connecting portion. The second spring holder is arranged on a second side of the output-side rotor, has a facing side facing the output-side rotor, and has second spring accommodation portions on the facing side each of which accommodates each of the second coiled springs. The input-side sliding contact surface is provided in the second spring holder so as to be in sliding contact with an output-side sliding contact surface of the output-side rotor. The biasing member is provided between the first spring holder and the output-side rotor to press the output-side rotor toward the second spring holder.

  • Patent number: 8602901
Abstract: The damper (12) includes first (14) and second (16) damping elements which are arranged in parallel by means of a connection disc (20). The first damping elements (14) comprise at least one first group (24) of resilient units (22) including at least two first resilient units (22) arranged in series by means of a first intermediate support element (26), and the second damping element (16) comprise at least one second group (34) of resilient units (32) comprising at least two second resilient units (32) arranged in series by means of a second intermediate support element (36). The damper includes at least one annular unit (39) for phasing of the resilient units (22, 32), which is distinct from the connection disc (20) and bears both the first (26) and second (36) intermediate support elements.

  • Patent number: 8597130
Abstract: A force transmission flange, preferably an intermediate force transmission flange, for a torque transmission device or a damper device, in particular for a drivetrain of a motor vehicle, wherein the force transmission flange has driver devices for mechanically coupling energy storage elements, and for at least two energy storage elements arranged offset axially and/or radially with respect to each other, the force transmission flange has at least two driver devices which are formed as one piece of the same material with the force transmission flange and are for coupling the energy storage elements. The invention relates to a device such as a torque converter, Föttinger coupling, damper, torsional vibration damper, turbine damper, pump damper, dual-mass converter or dual-mass flywheel or a combination thereof, optionally with a centrifugal pendulum-type absorber, wherein the device has a force transmission flange, especially an intermediate force transmission flange.
