Abstract: A washer includes a first lobe comprising a first hole, a second lobe comprising a second hole, a third lobe comprising a third hole, and a fourth lobe comprising a fourth hole. A first leg extends from the first lobe to the second lobe, and a second leg extends between the third lobe and the fourth lobe, wherein the second leg is parallel to the first leg. A third leg extends from the first lobe to the third lobe and spaces the first leg from the second leg such that the second lobe is disposed opposite the fourth lobe.
Abstract: A washer includes a hub and a first lobe connected to the hub. The first lobe includes a first hole. A second lobe is also connected to the hub and includes a second hole. A third lobe is also connected to the hub and includes a third hole. The first lobe extends from the hub at least partially in a first direction opposite the second lobe and the third lobe.

Abstract: A method for producing metallic washers (1) for locking in bolted joints, a washer having an annular configuration and on one side (9) a pattern of radially extending cams (10) and on the other side having a pattern of radially extending teeth (3), the washers on at least the side (2) having the pattern of teeth having a surface with a hardness preferably exceeding the hardness of the material to interact with the washer pattern of teeth in a locking operation. The method is especially characterized in the steps of—coating a batch of washers (1) with a corrosion resistant outer surface layer (7), the hardness of which exceeding the hardness of the material (6) to interact with the washer pattern of teeth (3) in a locking operation. The present invention also relates to a washer and a plant.
Abstract: A method for the manufacturing of circular washers for locking from blanks, a washer having a central hole, a first side comprising a pattern of radially extending teeth and a second side comprising a pattern of radially extending cams. The method is especially comprised in the steps of producing a washer blank having an annular shape; introducing the washer blank into a die assembly for forming a closed shaping space by a lower die portion, an opposing upper die portion, a central die portion and a support piece, the central die portion extending through a washer blank central hole; forming the blank to a washer by mutual movement of said lower and upper die portions; and opening the closed shaping space to extract the formed washer. The invention also relates to a device and a washer.
Abstract: An assortment of lock washers is produced from a method including the steps of (a) providing a plurality of blanks formed of generally planar resilient metal, some of the blanks having a different configuration from other of the blanks, each of the blanks including a central aperture, an outer periphery, a tab, and two locating holes spaced from the central aperture and spaced from each other a selected distance and at a selected orientation relative to the tab; (b) providing a tool having two locator pins and structure for bending a tab out of the plane of a blank; (c) orientating the two locating pins with the two locating holes of a selected blank; (d) actuating the tool to bend the tab of the selected blank out of the plane of the selected blank; and (e) repeating steps (c)-(d) for each of the blanks.
