    Abstract: A method for producing a screw foundation for securing elements in the ground, provides a cylindrical tube as an initial form and a conical front portion tapering to an insertion tip is then molded on to the cylindrical tube using a non-cutting process, the front portion being provided at least in some regions with a thread-like contour for screwing into the ground. An inner contour for a screwing tool is formed integrally in a rear end of the tube by flow forming, and the front portion and the thread-like contour are formed exclusively by flow forming.

    Abstract: The invention relates to the production of profiled hose nipples. The invention was based on the object of providing a method and an apparatus which allow hose nipples of the type outlined in the introduction to be produced in a simple manner such that the formation of burrs is avoided and there is no reduction in diameter. This object is achieved in that during the forming of pipe portions (1) in the apparatus (2, 7, 9) according to the invention in the region of the subsequent ring-shaped webs (4) of the nipple profile (3), the material of the pipe portion (1), at its outwardly pointing end (4), does not come into contact with the tool in the region of the parting joints (6) of the apparatus (2, 7). This can be realized by additional cavities (14) in the tool (2, 7).

    Abstract: A method of manufacturing fastenings or fasteners with radial outer contours, especially screws or threaded bolts, made of solid metal is performed by a device. The method manufactures the fastenings or fasteners preferably on a multi-stage press. Several recesses running in an axial direction at a fixed radial distance are formed in the shank-shaped section of a blank. The prefabricated blank with the recesses is inserted into a multi-part split mold within a multi-stage press, whose die stocks have an inner profiling forming the outer contour, and are opened in the starting position, that at the places where the die stocks are opened, there are the recesses. During the closing movement of the die stocks, at least one radial outer contour is pressed on the shank-shaped section of the blank by radial action of forces, with the recesses preventing material from getting between the die stocks during the pressing process.
