Abstract: The present invention is a decoy system that simulates waterfowl taking off and landing with an actuator that rotates a crossbeam in an oscillating manner. The crossbeam is pivotally connected through a hinge to a support beam and holds waterfowl decoys on opposite sides of the hinge, thereby raising and lowering the decoys in a teetering motion. The crossbeam can be unitary or may be formed by a pair of arm sections that are connected by a bracket. The support beam has a telescoping section that retracts and extends relative to a fixed section and has a set of legs at the base of the support beam. A pair of stops limits the extent to which the crossbeam can rotate relative to the hinge, thereby limiting the range of travel for the distal ends of the arm section.

Abstract: An actuator includes a first part having a magnetomotive element and configured to absorb heat up to at least a first temperature; a second part arranged so as to face the first part; a temperature-sensitive magnetic body provided between the first part and the second part and configured to move between a first position for contact with the first part and a second position for contact with the second part, the temperature-sensitive magnetic body having a Curie point lower than the first temperature and higher than a temperature of the second part; and a restoring part configured to restore the temperature-sensitive magnetic body from the first position to the second position.
Abstract: A seesaw includes a manually rotatable actuator for adjusting the balance of the seesaw to accommodate a weight differential between two riders. After adjusting the seesaw, the actuator automatically locks the adjustment mechanism in place. A rack-and-pinion assembly provides fine adjustment, and a protective cover avoids creating a pinching hazard.
Abstract: A playground apparatus having at least one support base for stabilizing the apparatus. A plurality of pockets are formed within the support base. The playground apparatus also includes at least one side member disposed within the pockets. A plurality of fasteners secure the side members disposed within the pocket to the support base to form the playground apparatus.
Abstract: The seesaw device is adjustable as to the lengths of the moment arms on the beam, of the two seats. Children can adjust the moment-arm length of their own seat in order to compensate for weight imbalances between them. A visible display scale informs of the child of the current moment arm setting.
Abstract: A rocking device for use as a toy incorporating several safety features to prevent the device from tipping over and the riders from falling off their seats or otherwise sustaining injuries during use. The rocking device includes a pair of substantially parallel siderails each having an upper portion and a curved lower portion. At least one horizontal member connects the pair of siderails. A pair of seats pivot from points on the upper portions of the siderails and remain substantially parallel to the ground during rocking of the pair of siderails.
