Patent number: 10044126Abstract: A plug connector to connect two electrical assemblies is provided that establishes a releasable connection between the assemblies, such as cells of a battery. The plug connector includes two contact pins, each connected to an electrical assembly, and a parallel plug connector with a busbar that is firmly connected to two contact housings. The length and shape of the parallel plug connector are adapted to the spacing of the contact pins of adjacent electrical assemblies when in the installed position. In this installed position, the parallel plug can connect the electrical assemblies together. In this form, tolerances in the position of the electrical assemblies are compensated in the insertion direction. The contact housings have common insertion directions and the parallel plug is movable from the insertion direction onto the two contact pins simultaneously. In this form, the parallel plug can be inserted after installation of the electrical assemblies.Type: GrantFiled: September 8, 2017Date of Patent: August 7, 2018Assignee: LISA DRAEXLMAIER GMBHInventors: Annika Krebs, Robert Saller

Publication number: 20120172139Abstract: A round ride that creates a rotating ride experience with a varying frequency of vehicle elevations. The round ride includes a central hub assembly with a hub and a hub drive that rotates the hub about a central axis at a hub rotation rate. The drive assembly includes support arms extending outward from the hub, upon which are mounted passenger vehicles. The support arms are pivotally mounted to the hub. The round ride includes a track structure with a ring-shaped running surface extending about the central axis and with a track drive rotating the running surface about the central axis at a track rotation rate in the same or differing direction and rate as the hub. The vehicles are vertically supported by the running surface which is contoured to define a series of hills and valleys, and the running surface and the hub are independently rotated about the central axis.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 4, 2011Publication date: July 5, 2012Applicant: DISNEY ENTERPRISES, INC.Inventors: Edward A. Patent number: 6110049Abstract: The device for simulating longitudinal and transverse accelerations on a vehicle compartment has a first motion level for longitudinal displacement of the compartment and, placed on top of the former, a second motion level for transverse displacement of the compartment. To simplify the construction in the interests of low production costs and to allow large mechanical loads to be applied while keeping the height of the assembly low, a pair of bogies configured at a fixed longitudinal distance from one another can run in each level on the appropriate one of two parallel tracks. Each track of the mutually perpendicular pairs is at least in the front and rear track regions uniformly ascending. The second motion level directly accommodates the vehicle compartment.Type: GrantFiled: May 18, 1998Date of Patent: August 29, 2000Assignee: STN Atlas Elektronik GmbHInventor: Rolf Wilkens

Patent number: 5114154Abstract: A simulated laser weapon using a halogen bulb, parabolic reflecting mirror, bulb cap, rotating aperture, air jet, barrel, and shroud to produce a pulsed envelope of substantially parallel, non-coherent light rays simulating the discharge from a high energy laser weapon being fired by and in the presence of a participant. An amusement application for a simulated laser weapon involving several participants in an air- or spacecraft combat situation wherein each participant is seated at a station which travels circularly compared to a fixed reference point, rotates, rises and falls, and tilts, and wherein each participant's simulated laser weapon is sequentially activated and deactivated while each participant attempts to aim and fire his simulated laser weapon at targets suspended above his head.Type: GrantFiled: April 21, 1989Date of Patent: May 19, 1992Assignee: Sellner productions, Inc.Inventor: Bruce A.
