Abstract: An unfolding springing apparatus comprises a base, an apparatus linkage comprising cranks and coupler links connected to the base, a biasing element, a drive motor, a transmission, and a prop mount. The apparatus linkage includes one or a plurality of opposed pairs of cranks, each pair of cranks being connected to each other at their respective ends by a pair of pivotally connected coupler links. The biasing element is operative to bias the apparatus linkage to fold or unfold. The drive motor is operative to unfold or fold the apparatus and to reenergize the biasing element. The transmission includes a linear extension module. When engaged, the transmission transmits displacement of the drive motor to the apparatus linkage to unfold or fold the linkage. When disengaged, the transmission releases the apparatus linkage to be folded or unfolded by the biasing element. The transmission includes a motorized clutch module.

Abstract: A golf swing practice/training device configured to generate a signal when the power arm of a golfer is properly moved from the top of the backswing to the slot position in the downswing comprising an attachment element to mount the golf swing practice/training device to the upper portion of the power arm of the golfer having a signal generator adjustably attachable at different locations thereon so that the signal generator may be disposed adjacent the inside of the upper portion of the golfer's power arm to engage the side of the golfer's upper body to activate the signal generator when the golfer's power arm is properly positioned relative to the golfer's body during the downswing.

Abstract: A system of remotely actuated novelty devices is disclosed having triggering and actuating components packaged in separate, interchangeable modules. The system includes several interchangeable trigger modules, each of which detects the occurrence of an activating event and in response generates a trigger signal of finite duration, and several interchangeable action modules, each of which performs a prank in response to a trigger signal. Each action module includes a battery that powers the action module and any trigger module connected to it.
