Abstract: A toy vehicle track kit which imparts a self-guiding capability to a toy vehicles via guide rails interposed between wheels of toy vehicles. The self-guiding capability also permits passing or side-by-side racing of one toy vehicle with respect to another.
Abstract: A convertible backyard carnival for allowing an amusement device providing rotational and/or reciprocal movement to be configured into one of a plurality of seating arrangements. The convertible backyard carnival comprises a base member having a weighted base platform and a swivel post adapted to fit any one of a plurality of distinct seating structures. Inside the swivel post is a movement member which is adapted to engage a receiving member in each distinct seating structure. The movement member provides the movement aspect of the convertible backyard carnival, and can move a seating structure to which it is connected through the receiving element in a rotational and/or reciprocating manner. In a preferred embodiment, three discrete seating structures are provided: a boat structure, tilt and spin structure, and a spin booth.

Abstract: Provided are a driving motor-placement device to be used in rotating playground equipment that is superior in terms of maintenance, and rotating playground equipment. The disclosed playground equipment driving motor-placement device is characterized in that it is provided with a lower stationary component and an upper rotator; the lower stationary component is provided with a stationary plate that can be removed from the playground equipment and a shaft that stands upright on said stationary plate; the upper rotator is configured to be able to rotate around the shaft of said lower stationary component and is provided with a handle support that supports handles that users can grasp, and a driving motor support that supports the driving motor; said driving motor support is provided above the handle support; and a coupling that transmits the rotation of the driving motor to the shaft of the lower stationary component is fixed to the top of said shaft.
Abstract: A holiday display preferably includes a drive unit, at least one object mount, a transport line and an idler pulley device. The drive unit preferably includes a drive motor and a system controller. The drive unit is retained above the ground in one location and the idler pulley device is retained above the ground in another location. A drive pulley is mounted to a drive shaft of the drive motor. The system controller controls the rotation of the drive motor. Both ends of the transport line are secured to the object mount to form a transport loop. One end of the transport loop is retained on the drive pulley and the other end is retained on the idler pulley. The system controller also includes a distance input device for setting a travel distance of the object mount between the drive and idle pulleys.

This conveyor surface defines a predetermined pathway, (13). The conveyor surface includes a plurality of interactive elements, (14), that are mounted to the conveyor surface. When the conveyor surface is moving, the interactive elements will also be moved. This movement will be towards a player, (15), who is controlling a miniature toy N sports device, (16), that can be selectively engaged with the conveyor surface as shown in FIG. 1. Further selective interaction can happen with the interactive elements, (14). This controlling of the miniature toy sports device, as well as the selective engagement and selective interaction will allow the player to take part in an interactive sport between the miniature toy sports device and a sports course designed by the pathway and interactive elements.

Abstract: A transmission for a decorative object having a music unit and a supporting frame mounted over the music unit, a plurality of spindles mounted between the supporting frame and the music unit and a plurality of gears mounted on the spindles and engaged with one another. A top of the supporting frame has a flat side with a center spindle hole for receiving a spindle, which extends through the spindle hole and is attached to a first rotary disk. One spindle is coupled with an inner gear of a ring unit by a transmission gear, a lower part of the ring unit being connected with an upper edged of a second rotary disk. When the music unit rotates the spindles on the supporting frame, the decorative objects attached to the rotary disks move simultaneously.
Abstract: A remotely controlled toy flying system in which the pitch of the toy flying device is controlled by the same drive shaft and drive shaft tube that is used to transmit power to the rotor of the toy flying device. A child can easily control the pitch of the toy flying device by rotating a knob. Rotation of the knob displaces the drive shaft, lifts the pitch link member and rotates the pitch shaft and toy flying device. Tilting the toy flying device causes the rotor to have a horizontal component of thrust causing the toy flying device to rotate in a fixed arc around the pivot member in the direction in which the knob is rotated by the child. Speed of the toy flying device rotor is controlled by the fore and aft motion of a lever.
Abstract: This invention relates to an oscillating mechanism for a crystal ball and in particular to one including a spring device, a driving gear connected with the spring means, a driven gear engaged with the driving gear and having an eccentric shaft with a circular stop at the end, and a linking rod provided with two prongs fitted over the eccentric shaft of the driven gear, two arms pivotally mounted on a frame of the crystal ball, and a driving rod connected to a rocking horse, whereby the rocking horse will swing forwards and backwards when the spring device releases its stored energy.

The small decoration includes a container provided with a key ring mounting section. In the container is arranged a spring drive unit including a drive mechanism which includes a plurality of gears driven by a spiral spring. One of the gear shafts is mounted with a decorative element such as a doll and the other gear shaft is mounted with a spring winding-up element. The spring winding-up element is adapted to wind up the spiral spring in association with closing of a lid member pivotally connected to the container and be returned to the original state while unwinding the spiral spring to actuate the decorative element when the lid member is open.

A moving unit for moving the toy supporting unit includes a base, an eccentric wheel mounted rotatably on the base, and a driving unit for actuating rotatably the eccentric wheel.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for displaying miniature carousel figurines includes a plurality of bases, each having a miniature carousel figurine affixed to it. Each base is shaped such that a plurality of bases may be arranged to form a full or partial annular shape. The configuration of bases may be optionally affixed to the upper surface of a rigid mounting plate. Support feet may be mounted to the lower surface of the mounting plate to give the appearance that the entire apparatus is in motion and floating in air. The invention provides collectors of miniature carousel figurines with maximum versatility in the number of figurines and the manner in which they may be displayed.
Abstract: An ornamental carousel assembly is disclosed which simulates a full-size carousel in that various figurines are supported upon a revolving platform below a canopy. The canopy is formed from a flexible material and is supported on the rotatable platform by a canopy support assembly. The canopy support assembly is composed of a plurality of interconnected ring elements and is attached to the platform by various support rods which are spaced about the periphery of the platform. Since the canopy is made from a flexible material and the canopy support assembly may be disassembled into its individual links, the carousel can be shipped and stored in a relatively small container.

Abstract: Automatic apparatus for cleaning dental handpieces and turbines is in the form of a housing having a compartment with hinged door. Standard motor noses project down from the top of the compartment to receive handpieces or turbines to be cleaned. Cleaning fluids, namely water, a disinfectant and oil are supplied sequentially to the motor noses while internal shafts of the motor noses are rotated by a set of pinions to drive the handpieces or turbines while the fluids are passed through them. The hinged door has an inflatable tube seal.
