Abstract: A pool cue holder includes a housing having a set of four, circumferentially spaced-apart openings configured to receive the distal end of a pool cue. The dimension, position, and shape of the openings are selected such that when the proximal end of each pool cue is positioned in a different corner of a pool table and the corresponding distal end of each pool cue is inserted through a different one of the one of the four openings in the housing, the housing will be supported directly over the center of the pool table. A receptacle containing a light source may be secured to the bottom of the housing. The bottom wall of the receptacle may have cut-outs arranged in a decorative pattern that allows light from the light source to illuminate the pool table in an interesting fashion.

Abstract: A billiard table useful for entertaining that may be set up against a wall, for people to play the novel billiard-style game from only one side (end). The table may have two bowed leg stands. The two stands may be bolted or otherwise affixed to the underside of the table. The table may be made out of plywood and oak with a felt playing surface. Pockets with designated numbers may run along the top and the bottom of the table. Players may call their shot, set up the ball, and then aim for the corresponding pocket. If the player sinks the ball into the called pocket, the ball will return to the front of the table in the same numbered pocket to easily keep track of the score. The device saves room and involves a great deal of strategy to play.

Abstract: A table ball game in which is provided a flat rigid playing surface of rectangular proportions. The playing surface is bounded by rails of sufficient height to prevent a ball from leaving the playing surface. There is a plurality of object holes located symmetrically at opposite ends of the longitudinal axis of the playing surface. A pair of lines are inscribed across the transverse axis near the object holes to denote a foul line for both the rolling of a ball and the rebounding of a rolled ball. For scoring purposes, the object holes are assigned numeric values in accordance with rules of play.

Abstract: A pocket leg that has a cylindrical body, a base, and a top that forms a pool ball pocket is provided. The pocket leg can be used to form a rectangular pool table with six pockets constructed with six pocket legs. To each pocket leg are attached two brackets. The brackets of the four pocket legs that define the corners of the pool table are perpendicular to each other and the brackets of the two pocket legs that are centrally located are parallel to each other. Six brace pieces fit into the brackets and form the base of a table. The table also includes a top, apron and bumper railing. Pocket legs can be used to form a rectangular pool table with eight or more pockets. The pocket legs can form square, pentagonal, hexagonal, octagonal, or other polygonal shaped pool tables.

Abstract: A new and improved method and apparatus for bumper pool adds considerably to the interest and challenge of playing the game. The bumper pool game may be played on larger tables, as compared to conventional bumper pool, with more balls, offering options for players with differing skill levels. The bumper pool game may provide for a variety of different shaped and sized bumpers. The bumper pool table may be designed for coin-operation by a ball return stop mechanism and controls the release of the balls to their respective sides of the table. A ball return set-up may return the balls to their respective ends of the table for quick and easy set up for playing the next game.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for playing pool on a pool table is disclosed. A raised stand is located on the pool table and pool balls are hit into an indentation on the raised stand. For example, a plurality of pool balls is arranged in a starting position on the playing surface of the pool table. The plurality of pool balls is comprised of an object ball and a plurality of different sets of pool balls. Players alternate turns wherein each player attempts to hit balls from a set of pool balls assigned to that player into pockets in the pool table using a pool cue and a cue ball.

At least one rebound cushion is removably mounted onto the flat circular playing surface against the circular rail between two of the pockets.

Preferably, the center cushion partially surrounds a centrally located pocket.

Abstract: A billiard type game system for playing a billiard type game on a game table. The game table has a table top which is defined by rails, consecutively numbered vertical pockets extending through the table top, a corresponding bumper for each pocket, and sets of color coded numbered balls. The pockets are scattered around the table top and are located away from the rails. Each pocket has a bumper positioned adjacent to the pocket, and an indicator also positioned adjacent to each pocket. The indicators serve as starting points from which the balls are hit across the table top towards the next consecutively numbered appropriate pocket. The object of the game is to the sink each of the balls of a player into the appropriate pockets according to a specified order.

Abstract: A multi-level pool game apparatus having two or more generally horizontal ball-supporting playing surfaces supported in stacked relation, spaced sufficiently apart from one another to allow player access to the lower surfaces to strike balls with a cue or the like. Each surface may have one or more ball-receiving pockets. Conduits extend between pockets at adjacent surfaces to provide pathways between such adjacent surfaces. In one form of the game, each player has a set of visually distinguishable balls, and the objective is for each player to advance his/her balls along a predetermined route from surface to surface, while impeding the advance of the other players' balls along the route. In the preferred embodiment there are three or more playing surfaces and at least one set of conduits are aligned with a pocket at an intermediate playing surface to provide both upward and downward pathways from that surface.

Abstract: A score counter includes a bar having two spheres on two ends thereof so as to fix the bar by engaging the two spheres with relative members. A plurality of retaining members each have a score marked therein and extend from an outside of the bar. A plurality of blocks are slidably mounted to the bar and each block is separated by the retaining members on the bar. The hole is sized that the user can move the block over the retaining members by force. The blocks on the bar are separated by the retaining members.

Abstract: A golf game, for one or more participants, played on a plurality of tables, a single golf hole played upon each table including providing of multi-sided, substantially non-symmetric playing tables, each table having a playing area to simulate a golf hole, each table having a playing surface with raised peripheral side edges with both resilient and non resilient bumpers surrounding the playing surface defining the overall boundary of the golf hole, a single ball receiving hole. The game further includes providing a playing ball for each participant and a cue stick for striking the playing ball within the boundary of each golf hole. In turn, each participant, using the cue stick, propels a ball from a tee-off area on the table to the ball receiving hole.
