Abstract: Provided is a golf game that is readily intuitively playable by a user. An input reception section receives an operation input indicating a motion of an input device gripped by the hands of the user. A control section controls a motion of a player character in a game space in accordance with the operation input. An image generation section generates a game image. When a golf club held by the player character comes into contact with the ground in the game space, the control section drives a stimulus generation section disposed in the input device to stimulate the user's hands gripping the input device.

Abstract: A video game apparatus as a sound output apparatus includes a CPU, and the CPU detects acceleration data included in input information data transmitted from a controller. The acceleration data is numerical value data for accelerations in three axial directions set to the controller. For example, a swinging motion of the controller in a right direction or a left direction is determined based on the acceleration in a direction of one axis (x-axis) out of three axes. In addition, a downward swinging motion of the controller and a posture of the controller at the time of end of swing are determined based on the acceleration in directions of two axes (y-axis and z-axis) other than the one axis. Accordingly, for example, a performance of a musical instrument displayed on a game screen is individually instructed.

Abstract: A talc dispenser for cue sticks in which a housing having a talc storage cavity is formed with a through tubular passageway configured to allow insertion of a cue stick shaft. A metering element is movable to cause talc to pass out of said storage cavity and into the enclosed space to thereafter be deposited on an inserted cue stick by rubbing contact with a tube of bristle material rolled up within the through passage and on which the talc is distributed. A chalk block holder is received in a housing recess and a housing holder has a belt clip for convenient storage of the dispenser.

Abstract: An improved means for dispensing powder and shaping/scuffing the tip of a billiard cue, for use during a game of billiards, is herein disclosed. The design of the compact, substantially cylindrical device incorporates the combination of portability, functionality, user discretion, and neatness/convenience of use lacking in the prior art. The device provides a simple, yet reliable means of dispensing small, easily controlled amounts of powder onto the hands of billiard players via the use of a ball and spring assembly. The device allows the user to dispense/apply the powder by (1) compressing the assembly and “rolling” the powder, or (2) “tapping” the ball and spring assembly on the appropriate area of the hand(s). The present invention is a device that also includes a shaping/scuffing tool, on the end opposite the ball and spring assembly, that allows an individual to manicure the tip of a billiard cue.

Abstract: A device for conditioning the tip of a pool cue includes a hand-held housing containing a motor and two or more separate tip conditioning mechanisms separately powered by the motor. The pool cue can be inserted into one opening in the housing for subjecting the cue tip to a scuffing action. The pool cue can be inserted into a second opening in the housing in order to apply chalk to the cue tip surface. Preferably the housing contains a powder dispenser for supplying moisture-absorbing powder to the hands of the pool player.

Abstract: A cosmetic assembly includes a stick of alum (1) deodorant, that is formed with a transverse passage (3) in which is placed a fixing pin made of an elastic material, and a casing in which the stick is placed. The fixing pin (4) is adapted to engage the inside wall of the casing (2) so as to fix the stick of alum within the casing by friction. The cosmetic assembly of the present invention enables sticks of alum of varying sizes to be used with standard type casings.
