Abstract: A foldable football holder includes at least two elongated supporting arms, an elongated holding arm, and a holder joint. The holder joint is configured to have a secure portion and two pivot wing portions with a predetermined unfolding angle therebetween. A mounting end portion of the holding arm is securely coupled with the secure portion of the holder joint while a holding end portion of the holding arm is extended away from the holder joint in a first direction and the pivot end portions of the two supporting arms are rotatably coupled with the two pivot wing portions of the holder joint about two pivot axes respectively.

Abstract: A baseball swing training apparatus that is configured to teach a player an optimal combination of three independent swing path angles wherein the apparatus further provides training for the three swing path angles for balls in alternate locations within a batter strike zone. The present invention includes a base platform that has four wheel assemblies operable to provide omnidirectional movement of the base platform. Secured to the upper surface of the base platform is the lift assembly. The lift assembly includes three arm members that are independently movable with separate motor and gear assemblies. A ball retention member is secured to the lift assembly wherein a swing path angle adjustment assembly is operably intermediate the ball retention assembly and the lift assembly. The swing path angle adjustment assembly includes a first, second and third axis movement assemblies each being independently adjustable.

Abstract: The invention disclosed comprises an apparatus, method of using, assembling and stowing the apparatus, and a kit including the apparatus and components for training players to achieve lift when kicking a football that requires an angled trajectory. The invention functions to provide a physical point of reference and visual target for a kicker to establish consistent kicking skills and achieve predictable angles. The apparatus is sturdy, easily and reversibly disassembled, and stored as part of a durable, packable kit to organize the required training gear. The method includes a series of steps whereby the apparatus is assembled; a kicker kicks the ball; if the angle of the kick is sufficient to lift the ball over the apparatus it will go over the visual target, if not it will fall under the visual target. The kit comprises at least a carry bag with various pockets for the device and related equipment.

Abstract: A trainer assembly for teaching effective baseball and softball batting technique includes a sleeve having an interior bat chamber adapted to house a barrel of a baseball bat and having a single open end terminating in a guide, and a retractable arm affixed to a closed end of the sleeve that is length adjustable and rotatable within an attached elbow, allowing a range of angle adjustment for positioning the sleeve. The elbow is 360 degrees rotatably affixed to a support at one end and at an opposite end holds the retractable arm at a fixed 45 degree angle below a horizontal plane measured from a top of the elbow. The elbow's horizontal rotation can be optionally locked. In an improved embodiment, the support is height adjustable via telescoping shaft portions. A method for using the trainer assembly is included.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for launching shuttlecocks at different frequencies, trajectories, speeds, spins, and shot types, thereby providing simulated shots for use in practice for badminton players and trainers. The shuttlecock launching apparatus having a dual pivoting launch assembly for providing various launch paths and trajectories, first and second launching wheels for imparting a forward motion to a shuttlecock, and a shuttlecock holding and transfer assembly for transferring a single shuttlecock from a holding area to a launch point near the first and second launching wheels in a controlled and consistent manner.

Abstract: A baseball swing training device that is operable to teach an improved baseball swing plane wherein the baseball swing training device is tiltably adjustable in a first direction and a second direction. The baseball swing training device further includes a base member having a telescoping support arm extending upward therefrom. Secured to the telescoping support arm is an upper frame assembly that includes a support arm that is u-shaped. An upper bat guide member and a lower bat guide member are secured to the support arm and are parallel in configuration having a void therebetween. A pair of ball grip members are mounted intermediate the lower bat guide member and upper bat guide member. A speed sensor is present and is operable to detect the speed of either the ball or the bat during use of the baseball swing trainer and display the speed on a LCD screen.

The opening permits the kicker to see the entirety of the football down to the tip. Textured surfaces are provided that extend forward to a downwardly depending shoulder. The textured surfaces are devised so that a football can be supported horizontally on the textured surfaces for squib kicks. The facing terminations of the recess portions are sized and configured to allow a football to be leaned against the tee engaging those terminations to allow the ball to be supported with its tip on a ground surface for onside kicks.

Abstract: A portable football and soccer kicking training aid which holds and kicks a football or soccer ball in a trajectory, and with a force, simulating a ball kicked by a trained player. The training device is used by coaches in controlled practice sessions, to train and evaluate defensive and offensive lines and backs, and other players, in their response to kicked balls. The device provides repeated, reproducible kicked balls without requiring trained kickers to perform these routine functions or exposing them to injury. A ball cradle is supported on the pivot arm for releasably supporting a ball to be centered. A bias member urges the pivot arm towards the second, released position and a pivot arm lock is operable, in a first condition, to hold the pivot arm in the first position. The pivot arm lock, in a second condition, releases the pivot arm so that the bias member moves the pivot arm to the released position, thereby centering the ball. The apparatus preferably includes sound actuated means for changing the condition of the pivot arm lock from the first condition to the second condition, to center the ball.
