Abstract: Adjustable over-the-door hook assemblies with removable door spacers that accommodate different door thicknesses and different types of doors are disclosed. The door spacer may be selectively mounted on a support bracket, or may be removed from the bracket for use with thicker doors. A door bumper may also be provided on a lower portion of the hook assembly to vertically align the assembly and to prevent damage to the door.

Abstract: A method for playing a paper airplane game is disclosed. The game is played by, first, positioning a hoop within a playing environment. Next, a paper airplane is thrown towards the hoop. If the paper airplane did not pass through the hoop, the thrower move to the location of the paper airplane re-throw the paper airplane towards the hoop. This process is repeated until the paper airplane passes through the hoop.

Abstract: A back stop device suitable for coupling to a backboard assembly in a sporting activity is disclosed. The device includes a central member. The central member couples to one or more clamps which couple to the backboard assembly. The central member may be coupled to a portion of one or more pivot members. One or more arm members may be coupled to a portion of each of the pivot members. The arm members may be selectively repositionable when used in conjunction with the pivot members. One or more netting members may be coupled to a portion of at least one of the central member and one or more of the arm members or a portion of the backboard assembly. The netting members may be configured to deflect a ball in a direction determined by the position of the members with weights coupled to a bottom portion of the netting members.

Abstract: A miniature basketball hoop has a pair of spaced apart hooks on the top of a backboard to hook the backboard over the top of a door. The hoop includes a break-away rim mounted to the front of the backboard, and sound dampening material on the rear face of the backboard, so as to minimize sound when a ball hits the backboard or rim during use.

Abstract: The miniature basketball hoop of the present invention includes a rectangular backboard having front and rear faces. The backboard is transparent substantially across its entire area. Abstract: Portable play structures are provided that provide fun and entertainment of both adults and children. These structures can be easily and quickly folded and collapsed into a compact configuration. The structure has a backboard having a first loop and a second loop, and a basket having a rim that is hingedly coupled to the backboard. In an operative state, the rim is substantially normal to the backboard. In a compact configuration, the rim is substantially parallel to the backboard. The structure has a weight for anchoring the structure to a support, and a connecting piece for hingedly coupling the weight to the backboard.

Abstract: A children's basketball backboard and hoop assembly includes a backboard, and a hoop having a rim which is pivotably attached to the backboard, and a net attached to the rim. The assembly further includes an enlarged secondary training rim pivotably attached to the backboard for movement between an operative position wherein the secondary rim is located above the hoop rim in substantially parallel relation to the hoop rim, and a storage position generally parallel to the backboard. The hoop rim is pivotably attached to the backboard for movement between an operative position wherein the rim extends substantially perpendicular to the backboard and a storage position wherein the rim is positioned in closely spaced parallel relation to the backboard. When the secondary training rim is moved to the storage position it is received within a recess extending along an upper peripheral edge of the backboard.

Abstract: A basketball goal for indoor play in an area bounded by a wall having an access door set therein, the height of the goal being adjustable to a desired elevation. The goal includes a hoop from which a net is suspended, the hoop being supported on a fixture attached to the front section of a pantograph whose rear section is provided with a mounting bracket that hitches onto the upper edge of the door, whereby the hoop projects outwardly from the wall in a horizontal plane. The pantograph is angularly adjustable to raise or lower the front section thereof with respect to the rear section while maintaining these sections in parallel relation whereby the hoop may be set to an elevation suitable for play.
