Abstract: A ball striking device, such as a golf club, includes a head that includes a face having a ball striking surface configured for striking a ball and a body connected to the face and extending rearward from the face. A face member formed primarily of a metallic material forms the face, and a body member is connected to the face member and extends rearward from the face member to form at least a portion of the body. The body member is formed at least partially of a polymer material, and has a doped portion containing a doping material dispersed within the polymer material. The doping material may have a different density than the polymer material, such that the doped portion has a different density than the portions of the body member not containing the doping material. A co-molding method may be used to form the ball striking device.

Abstract: A ball striking device, such as an iron-type golf club head, includes a face having a ball striking surface and a rear surface, and a body connected to the face. The body has a sole member and a rear cavity defined at least partially by the sole member and the rear surface of the face. The body has an elongated, recessed channel extending within the cavity along a juncture line between the rear surface of the face and the sole member. Additionally, the head is formed in part by a face member having a first leg forming at least a major portion of the face and a second leg extending rearwardly from a bottom end of the first leg and forming at least a portion of the sole member. The head may further be formed by a body member connected to the face member.

Abstract: An integrated golf club and analysis system that measures and analyze the performance characteristics of both: 1) a free golf swing without impact with a golf ball and 2) a golf swing with ball impact analysis. Free swing analysis provides critical information needed to analyze swing style so that dynamics swing characteristics optimization can be evaluated throughout the entire swing without ball impact, while impact analysis provides critical information on ball impact location on the club face, however, they cannot be measured simultaneously since ball impact eliminates the ability to identify the swing metric peaks such as velocity if it were to occur after ball impact. To achieve both, an integrated electronics golf club head comprises multiple types of sensors for measuring club head motion, impact and spatial location information with a weight and balance of a regulation golf club head.

Abstract: A cue tip tool is a cylindrical jig having a longitudinal bore forming its body into a tube that accepts a cue being tipped. The jig body has three equally positioned slots cut through the tubular wall, and the outer surface of the jig has a collar that squeezes the jig against the cue ensuring that the axis of the cue is aligned with the jig. The end of the jig is a cylindrical surface stepped to a larger diameter, and the stepped cylinder is coaxial with the axis of the jig and the axis of the cue. Three auxiliary units configured to separately engage the jig provide for burnishing the end of the cue's ferrule, positioning the cue tip being installed during gluing, and cleaning the cue tip of accumulated chalk debris, while maintaining accurate alignment of the cue tip with the cue's axis.

Abstract: A pool cue tip repair apparatus comprises a cue clamp including a pair of opposing jaws having mating recesses defining a passage adapted to grip a pool cue stick, and a clamping device adapted to apply the jaws to the pool cue stick; and a tip clamp member detachably mountable on the cue clamp and having an operating screw axially oriented so as to be generally parallel with a longitudinal axis of the passage.

Abstract: A removable billiard cue tip that can be placed on the end of a conventional billiard cue and subsequently removed easily. The removable tip includes a body having a frustoconical outer surface and a chamber therein as defined by an inner sidewall and an endwall with a soft cushion. An o-ring is mounted in a groove in the inner sidewall, and seats against the outer surface of the conventional cue tip when the removable tip is mounted in place.

Abstract: A pool cue holder attachment for holding pool cues to the side of a table. Included is a base block having a plurality of spaced apart bores extending between the top and bottom sides of the base block. The base block also has a plurality slots with each slot extending between the front side of the base block and an associated bore of the base block. A cover member for covering the ends and sides of the base block. A pair of clamp members are coupled to the cover member, the clamp members is adapted for detachable attachment to a side of a table.
