Abstract: A striking device such as a racquet or tool has a head portion for striking an object and an elongate handgrip with an exterior shell defining an elongate ventilation chamber having a set of air holes for ventilation purposes and to create enhanced gripping ability. An air scoop section is connected to a head end of the shell and forms two air inlets on opposite sides of the handgrip. The air scoop section includes a partition separating the two air inlets, this partition having airflow directing surfaces on opposite sides thereof. These surfaces can direct outside air in a longitudinal direction into the ventilation chamber.

Abstract: A cushion for handle of racket comprises, from bottom to top, a fabric layer, a permeable layer, and a smooth flat waterproof layer. The permeable layer has a flat bottom surface and an undulating top surface wherein the raised portions of the top surface of the permeable layer project above the waterproof layer to form a plurality of absorption irregular areas for absorbing sweat and heat given forth from hand when holding the racket. Further, absorption areas has a high frictional coefficient. This can increase the grasping force of the hand of user on racket.
Abstract: A striking device handle for use in a variety of applications including ball game sports, or as a construction or demolition device handle used in construction, said device is intended to cool the user's hand and reduce the shock that occurs when a striking device impacts an object, the handle having a handgrip comprised of a central body having concavely curved front and rear surfaces which extend a substantial distance along the handgrip, and an exterior shell dispersed on opposite sides of the central body, covering the front and rear surfaces. The shell has a plurality of ventilation openings formed therein that communicate with two separate ventilation chambers that are formed between each of the front and rear surfaces and the shell. Two air inlets are formed on opposite sides of the handgrip at a head end, each air inlet opening into a respective one of the ventilation chambers at the head end.
Abstract: A grip for a sports racquet, tool or other article adapted to be hand-held when in use. The grip defines an internal vacuum chamber which communicates with ambient surroundings through one or passageways in the grip. The passageways are covered or filled with a porous, permeable material. A port with removable plug communicates with the internal vacuum chamber. When, the grip is wetted and a vacuum applied to the chamber, moisture that accumulates on the surface of the grip will be drawn by a wicking action into the chamber to maintain the grip in a substantially dry condition.
