Abstract: A bowling pin setter mechanism comprising a vertically-arranged lift assembly and a combined spot and re-spotting assembly. The latter includes a top member including a chute, the top member configured to move in a top plane; a bottom member including a bottom opening having an area of a first size and a support plate disposed adjacent the bottom opening, the bottom member disposed in a bottom plane; a middle member including a middle opening and a channel extending from the middle opening at a neck area, the middle member disposed between the top member and the bottom member, the middle member configured to move in a middle plane parallel to the top plane and the bottom plane; and an actuator configured for lowering and raising an aggregate group of said top, middle and bottom members.
Abstract: An improvement for a bowling pinsetting machine. The bowling pinsetting machine of the present invention includes a tong operating device with an upper tong and a lower tong. The upper tong and the lower tong may be connected to an actuation gear which may drive the tongs together and apart. The tong operating device may be substantially made of plastic. At least one of the upper tong, the lower tong, and the actuation gear may include metal oil-filled bearings. At least one metal pin may run through the metal oil-filled bearing and thereby connect the upper tong, the lower tong and the actuation gear.
Abstract: A bowling pin release mechanism, which is used to release bowling pins onto the lane for the first ball, which is pin cell independent. As such, aside from the vertical, reciprocating motion of the frame structure on which it is mounted, does not require additional mechanical or electromechanical mechanisms or components for pin release and reset operations. The resettable pin support and release mechanisms are contained within the pin cell.
Abstract: An oil painting set provided with plural sheets of canvas of predetermined size and a drawing board to hold the canvas flat. The drawing board is provided with a board member and a board-shaped cushion material adhered or stuck to the board member as to be layered. Longitudinal and lateral dimensions of the board-shaped cushion material are set to be approximately same as longitudinal and lateral dimensions of the board member respectively. Size of the drawing board is set to be larger than size of the canvas. Clips for detachably holding the canvas are fixed to the drawing board.
