And Turbine Shaft Brake Patents (Class 477/56)
  • Patent number: 11261581
Abstract: A shovel enabled to set an engine revolution speed to revolution speeds including a revolution speed for a running operation and a revolution speed for an idling running operation that is lower than the revolution speed for the running operation includes an engine provided as a driving source of the shovel, an operating part configured to be driven by a driving force of the engine, an operation component configured to operate the operating part, a detecting device configured to detect a position of a movable portion of an operator and a position of the operation component, an operation determining part configured to determine a positional relationship between the movable portion and the operation component, and a control part configured to set the engine revolution speed of the engine based on the positional relationship between the movable portion and the operation component that is determined by the operation determining part.

  • Patent number: 9067149
Abstract: A powered scale model vehicle having a transmission with a forward gear and a reverse gear. The transmission is shiftable between the forward gear and the reverse gear. The vehicle has a radio control receiver, a sensor and a microcontroller. The receiver is adapted to output a throttle signal and a shift signal to the microcontroller. The sensor is adapted to obtain a vehicle speed measurement. The microcontroller is electrically coupled to the receiver and the sensor. The microcontroller may be adapted to control a timing and execution of a forward/reverse shift on the transmission based on at least the vehicle speed measurement, the throttle signal, and the shift signal, for example.

  • Patent number: 8560188
Abstract: A sport running estimated value LEVELSP obtained by searching a value on a map prepared in advance based on an average values AGYAVE of lateral accelerations GY of a vehicle and on average values of vehicle speed changes is calculated, and a vehicle speed on a shift map is searched based on the sport running estimated value LEVELSP and an estimated value DA of a vehicle gradient, whereby a downshift vehicle speed VA at which a downshift is implemented is calculated. Then, the downshift is implemented in a case where actuation of a brake is detected, deceleration of the vehicle is a predetermined value or more, and a current vehicle speed is a downshift vehicle speed VA or more. In such a way, running on a meandering road, for which the downshift and a subsequent shift hold should be implemented, is sensed appropriately.

  • Patent number: 6898547
Abstract: A system is disclosed for use in assembling a plurality of rotatable elements in the assembly of a turbine engine. The system includes an initialization unit, a measurement unit, and a processing unit. The initialization unit is for entering initialization data into a database. The initialization data includes a first set of initialization data that is representative of characteristics of a first rotatable element, and a second set of initialization data that is representative of characteristics of a second rotatable element. The measurement unit is for permitting a user to enter measured data including a first set of measured data characteristic of measured features of the first rotatable element, and a second set of measured data characteristic of measured features of the second rotatable element.
