Treadmill For Foot Travel Patents (Class 482/54)
  • Patent number: 10632340
Abstract: A treadmill includes a frame, a driving member and a running belt. The frame includes a base, a front rotating shaft and a rear rotating shaft. The driving member has a motor and a transmission member drivable by the motor. The motor is installed between the front rotating shaft and the rear rotating shaft and is located adjacent to the front rotating shaft. The transmission member is adapted for driving the front rotating shaft to rotate. The running belt winds around the front rotating shaft and the rear rotating shaft, and is drivable by the motor to rotate relative to the base. By installing the motor between the front rotating shaft and the rear rotating shaft, an overall length and size of the treadmill is reduced for minimizing storage space.

Abstract: A method for detecting whether a user is walking or running. The method includes detecting foot interactions of the user and outputting data from the foot interactions detected. The method includes calculating a cadence frequency based on the data from the foot interactions, and measuring a first signal amplitude detected at a first multiplier of the cadence frequency calculated and a second signal amplitude for the data from the foot interactions detected at a second multiplier of the cadence frequency using the data from the foot interactions. The method includes comparing the first signal amplitude and the second signal amplitude to determine a cadence factor, then comparing the cadence factor to a predetermined threshold. The method detects whether the user is walking or running is based upon the comparison of the cadence factor to the predetermined threshold.

A first coupling device operatively connects a first pulley to the first roller. The first coupling device allows the first pulley and the first roller to revolve if the rotational speed of the first roller is equal to or greater than the rotational speed of the first pulley, and prevents the first pulley and the first roller from rotating if the rotational speed of the first roller is less than the rotation speed of the first pulley.

Abstract: A system may include a motor drive that controls one or more operations of a motor. The motor drive may include a first processor that controls the operations of the motor according to a first control mode application. The system may include a second processor that controls the operations of the motor according to a first control mode profile that corresponds to the first control mode application, receives a request to operate the motor according to a second control mode application, and executes a set of computer-readable instructions upon receipt of the request. The set of computer-readable instructions may cause the second processor to load an executable file associated with the second control mode application onto the first processor and send a first command to the first processor to execute the executable file associated with the second control mode application.

Abstract: A treadmill which utilizes provides for a connection between the floor stand and the treadbase which is toward the front end of the treadbase and provides for generally improved support of the front end of the treadbase at higher angles by providing that the lift mechanism is attached to the treadbase at two fixed points a fixed distance from each other. The lift mechanism then utilizes two different motions, the extension of an extension arm and the rotation of a rigid arm, to produce lift. The rotation of the rigid arm generally utilizes a wheel in an enclosed raceway attached to the floor stand.
