Abstract: In accordance with a version of the invention, a martial arts training device is provided which allows solitary training, particularly with regard to clinch training. In certain versions of the application, the martial arts training device generally comprises: a base assembly having a top; a primary spring affixed to the top of the base assembly, the primary spring having a top and a bottom; a torso body assembly; a vertical adjustment assembly adapted to vertically translate the torso body assembly between a downward position and an upward position; and at least one bidirectional spring-biased assembly for yieldably maintaining the torso body assembly in a default resting position.

Abstract: An apparatus configured as a scrub brush having an ergonomic handle. The body of the handle is designed to move an upper elongate portion of the scrub brush to a vertical position in a ‘rocking’ motion. To move the head of the scrub brush above the body, the ‘rocker brush’ includes a stabilizing weight positioned within a cavity formed in a rounded bottom of the handle. The weight in the rounded bottom causes the scrub brush to ‘flip’ upwards in a rocking motion when a user sets the scrub brush on a flat surface, such as a kitchen or bathroom countertop.

The base assembly includes a container with a convex shaped bottom that contains ballast with a greater concentration of weight located at a front portion of the container. The distribution of weight in the container and the weight of the leg portions causes the martial arts training device to rebound to an upright state when the device is displaced from an upright state during use of the device during training.

Abstract: A training bag comprising a bag removably attached to a base, where the bag may be a foam cylinder with a cover and the base may be pre-filled with sand. The bag may attach to the base via hook and loop material. The training bag may be used for all standing strikes, high and low, as well as for ground work, and requires no assembly and no installation.

Abstract: An exercise training apparatus of the present invention includes two bases and an inflatable body. The bases respectively include a filling hole, a lid, a storage space and a water absorber. The filling hole communicates with the storage space. The lid detachably covers the filling hole, and the water absorber is located in the storage space. The inflatable body has a first and a second target portion connecting to each other. The first and the second target portion respectively connect to one of the bases. Thereby, inflatable body is formed as the crotch of a human body for users to kick or attack upwards. The bases can be filled with liquid so as to increase weight to the inflatable body, and the water absorber can hold the liquid to keep the gravity at the bottom of the bases. Consequently, the invention has a well balanced structure.

Abstract: A boxing training device of the present invention includes a base, a support portion and a hit portion. The support portion is disposed on the base, and the hit portion is disposed on the support portion. The hit portion may he stored in a cavity defined by a bottom surface of the base while being removed from the support portion. Therefore, the storage space of the present invention is reduced.

Abstract: A strike trainer has an attachment assembly, a shock absorber, a target mount and a target. The attachment assembly has an attachment body, an outer stabilizer being mounted on the attachment body, a metal sleeve being mounted through the attachment body and the outer stabilizer and an inner stabilizer being formed inside the metal sleeve. The shock absorber is connected to the metal sleeve of the attachment assembly. The target mount is mounted in the shock absorber and has an inner disk, an outer disk, a metal sleeve and a plastic tube being mounted inside the metal sleeve. The outer disk is mounted on an outer surface of the inner disk, the metal sleeve of the target mount is mounted through the inner and outer disks and the plastic tube is mounted in the metal sleeve. The target is mounted on the target mount.

Abstract: A strike trainer has an attachment assembly, a shock absorber, a target mount and a target. The attachment assembly has an attachment body, an outer stabilizer being mounted on the attachment body, a metal sleeve being mounted through the attachment body and the outer stabilizer and an inner stabilizer being formed inside the metal sleeve. The shock absorber is connected to the metal sleeve of the attachment assembly. The target mount is mounted in the shock absorber and has an inner disk, an outer disk, a metal sleeve and a plastic tube being mounted inside the metal sleeve. The outer disk is mounted on an outer surface of the inner disk, the metal sleeve of the target mount is mounted through the inner and outer disks and the plastic tube is mounted in the metal sleeve. The target is mounted on the target mount.

Abstract: The martial arts accessory apparatus provides a sturdy backdrop for target attachments. The slideably fitted inserts fit in a plurality of positions within the sleeves. Additionally, the cross brace provides slideable fit of the target structure verticals, thereby providing target height adjustment. The first target structure provides for holding objects to be struck, such as boards or bricks, in a choice of pivoted positions, the first target structure fittable to the horizontal in a plurality of rotated positions, thereby providing for a user to ideally position the object to be struck. The first target structure provides a significant gap between arms so that impact follow through may be practiced without injury to the user. The variety of target structures and positioning capabilities allow a user to optimally locate each target or object to be struck so that a variety of striking positions and striking body parts can be used.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a training bag apparatus. A preferred embodiment of the training bag apparatus includes: (a) a base including (1) a bottom part having an upper surface and a lower surface wherein the lower surface has a rounded edge extending around the lower surface and (2) a top part attached to the upper surface of the bottom part of the base; and (b) a column supported on the top part of the base and extending substantially vertically upward from the top part of the base. The column and the base are an integral one-piece unit and move in the same direction when the column is struck.

Abstract: An apparatus for practicing art of attack and defense includes a base, an elastic force regulating set and a cylindrical member. The elastic force regulating set further includes a spring, a hollow cylinder and a Y-shaped hollow post. The hollow cylinder and the Y-shaped hollow post adjustably engage with each other with screw threads and distance between the hollow cylinder and the Y-shaped hollow post is capable of being regulated to create elastic force change for providing a specific elastic force needed by the user. The space in the base can be placed with a solid or injected liquid to offer steady center of gravity against being hit down. Further, the cylindrical member, the hollow cylinder and the Y-shaped hollow can be received in the base conveniently after use.

Abstract: A martial arts training device comprising a stand having a base and at least one substantially vertically extending arm extending up from the base. There is also at least one guide coupled to the stand which is for guiding a user in performing exercises. In addition, to stabilize the stand there is a stabilizer for stabilizing against movement so that when a user accidentally contacts the guide, the stand remains substantially in place. The guide can be in the form of a rope, cord, or cable.

Abstract: An apparatus for kick boxing training or punching, the apparatus comprising: a base portion providing a way of increasing the weight of the base portion; an upright portion removably and fixedly engagable with the base portion; and a cushion portion removably engagable with the upright portion and positioned for receiving hand and foot blows from an upright boxer. The base portion provides a circular base plate for resting the apparatus on a surface, and a circular sidewall, the sidewall joining the base plate in an outside radiused peripheral edge. The outside radiused peripheral edge is enabled such that a blow received by the cushion portion causes the apparatus to rotate about the radiused peripheral edge and to thereafter right itself.

The wrist and forearm exerciser includes an elongate handle rod and a line with opposite upper and lower ends. The upper end of the line is coupled to the handle rod. A weight support means is coupled to the lower end of the line. A plurality of weights are supported by the weight support means.

Abstract: A new and useful amusement device for an animal such as a horse is provided, which is designed to (i) occupy and amuse an animal such as a horse which is confined to an enclosure, (ii) condition the animal against an event such as a foreign object appearing in the enclosure, and (iii) enable the animal to exercise by playing in various ways with the device. The amusement device is designed to be rugged and durable enough to withstand environmental conditions of an animal enclosure such as a paddock or corral, and flexible enough to retain is shape despite the physical abuse associated with being played with by a horse.

Abstract: A martial arts practice apparatus which supports a hand-held striking target, called a focus pad, in a variety of positions corresponding to parts of a person's body. The apparatus generally comprises an arm adapted to hold a focus pad at its distal end and a base which pivotally supports the arm and absorbs the force of the blows delivered to the focus pad. An axle disposed through the middle of the base and the bottom end of the arm allows the arm to be pivoted over the base, and a removable pin may be inserted through the arm and one of the holes formed at regular intervals through the top edge of the base at a uniform radial distance from the axle to secure the arm in a fixed position. A spring loaded resistance system or a resilient top portion of the base allows the base to absorb the force of the blows delivered to the focus pad.

Abstract: A pneumatic bop bag which rests on the ground and simulates a humanoid figure having a head, the bag being normally erect. When a player punches the head, the bag is caused to swing to a degree that depend on the force of the punch, the bag then swinging back to resume its erect position. The bag is formed by a collapsible fabric casing having an upper head zone, an intermediate torso zone and a base zone that rests on the ground. The head and torso zones are occupied by an inflated balloon which conforms to the contours of these zones to cause the bag to assume a three-dimensional shape. Confined within the base zone is a weighted convex dish whose center pole which engages the ground is normally aligned with a vertical axis. When the bag is punched and swings away from this vertical axis, the gravitational force imposed on the dish causes the bag to return to its normal position whereby it is again erect.

Abstract: A football blocking and tackling dummy for the practice of football skills has an illustration of a football player on the front thereof. A force sensitive switch is located within the dummy vertically between the knees and waist of the illustrated player. A mercury switch is located above the waist of the dummy at an angle. A block or tackle of the dummy in the preferred zone will actuate the force sensitive switch and a sound output will be produced. Hitting the dummy too high will open the mercury switch and prevent the sound output from being produced.
