Abstract: There is provided an apparatus for an automatic/semiautomatic door, and more particularly, to an apparatus for an automatic/semiautomatic door to prevent the door from leaving its track during an opening/closing process and to maintain airtightness between the inside and the outside when closed. In the apparatus for the automatic/semiautomatic door, airtight frames are separably assembled at the top, bottom and both sides of the automatic/semiautomatic door and wherein an airtight structure is buried in a floor surface coming in contact with the bottom of an opening/closing door of the automatic/semiautomatic door, so that the airtight frame is air-tightly and slidably inserted into the airtight structure. Therefore, any gap between the inside and outside is blocked to improve airtightness by preventing drafts, noise, etc. and the opening/closing door is prevented from shaking or leaving its track.
Abstract: A combined sealing system for connecting a first panel having a sash to a frame includes first, second, and third sealing systems. The first panel is within and movable relative to the frame, comprising: The first sealing system is configured to engage a first portion of the sash with a first portion of the frame. The second sealing system is configured to engage a second portion of the sash with a second portion of the frame. The third sealing system is configured to engage a meeting rail of the first panel with a meeting rail of a second panel within the frame. The first panel is movable between at least an open position and a completely closed position. Prior to the first panel being in the completely closed position, engagement of the first sealing system begins and drives engagement of at least one of the second and third sealing systems.

Abstract: A solid skirt seal mounted to the bottom edge of a slide-glide door panel hinged to rotate about an axis generally parallel to the bottom edge of the door panel, a spring biasing the hinged skirt seal to rotate the lower edge of the skirt seal in a downward direction, and a flexible cover extending between the lower edge of the skirt seal and the lower edge of the door panel.
Abstract: A door sweep includes a holder and a plurality of astragals extending from the holder. The holder has a generally U-shaped cross-section defining a cavity for receiving a portion of a door. The astragals are provided with tongues, which are received in grooves of the holder.
Abstract: A fire lintel for a freight elevator pass door that provides a fire stop in the gap between the door opening header and the upper panel of the pass door and that is displaceable for passage of the door above into the gap when the door above opens. Two embodiments of the fire lintel are characterized by overlapping baffle-like elements that afford a high resistance to the passage of gases into the hoistway in the event of a fire.
