  • Patent number: 9080366
Abstract: The invention relates to a drive configuration for the motorized displacement of a displacement element of a motor vehicle, at least one drive having an electrical drive motor, in particular a DC motor, and a drive controller, which is associated with the drive and connected to a supply voltage UV, being provided, the drive not being designed as self-locking, so that in the case of a non-motorized displacement of the displacement element, the drive motor operates as a generator and generates a generator voltage UG. It is proposed that the drive controller is equipped with an overvoltage protector, which can be triggered by exceeding a limiting supply voltage UV, and that the configuration is further made so that the overvoltage protector can additionally be triggered by a non-motorized displacement of the displacement element if a limiting generator voltage UG is exceeded.

Abstract: The sliding sash is supported at a guide rail by a sash portion projecting from the floor in a vertical plane and a sash portion ascending in an inclined plane relative to the inside adjoins an additional tipper sash portion which projects up in the vertical plane and is set back. Every sash portion is formed by a section bar arm receiving a glass pane. The upper sash portion is guided at a ceiling rail with two running paths which are arranged at a distance from one another and parallel to one another. In order to secure this guide relative to loading by wind and/or snow, each running path is formed of two inclined guide paths of a web head of the ceiling rail, this web head having a triangular cross section, and support rollers which are supported at an inclination run on the guide paths of every web head at a roller holder which is fastened to the terminating section bar of the upper sash portion.

  • Patent number: 5507121
Abstract: A garage (10) generally comprises a pair of side walls (20, 40) that are vertical, parallel and semi-circular, and a peripheral wall (60) spanning between the periphery of the side walls (20, 40) to form an enclosure. The peripheral wall (60) includes a front door (61) and a rear door (71). Front and rear door support paths (30, 35) are located on the inside (28) of each side wall (20, 40) near the wall's peripheral edge. Each door path is parallel, semi-circular and supports a side edge of a door. The front and rear door paths (30, 35) are of different radius such that the door panels may overlap. Latching mechanisms (80), located at approximately midway up on the marginal side (38, 58) of each side wall (20, 40) are moveable to a latching position connecting a door to sidewalls (20, 40) such that the door cannot slide and such that the door prevents the side walls from outward movement at that location.

  • Patent number: 5431251
Abstract: An elevator car, which is used with a curvilinear door that encloses an opening of the car, has a back wall, a first side wall attaching to the back wall, and a second side wall attaching to the first side wall at a point that is away from the back wall. The said second side wall extends from the first side wall towards the front opening. The second side wall is shaped and arranged to allow the curvilinear door to open without touching the car. The car has a floor attaching to a bottom portion of the back wall, the first side wall, and the second side wall, having a curvilinear section extending out the front of said car beyond the second side wall. The curvilinear section cooperates with the curvilinear door to prevent objects from falling therebetween. The elevator car enables an elevator to use center opening doors in a narrow hoistway.
