    Abstract: A cabin for a vehicle includes a cabin wall having an opening and a door for opening and closing the opening. The door is moved about a rotational point and includes a movable door leaf which has a concentric segment. The cabin wall additionally forms a door stop in the closing direction of the door. The door leaf further has a linear segment with a fixed end and a free end. The linear segment adjoins the concentric segment at the fixed end in the closing direction of the door, and the free end of the linear segment forms a closing edge in the closing direction of the door. The closing edge lies against the door stop when the door is closed. A vehicle including an interior having the cabin is also provided.

The system comprises a two-part seal formed by a compressible sound damping material and a rigid compressing projection. One part of the two-part seal is secured along opposed vertical edges of opposed side walls of an open-top-end box of the truck. The other part is secured on opposed sides of an inner wall of the tail gate and aligned for facial contact with the first part. The tail gate is hingedly secured at a top end thereof to the opposed side walls of the box. The sound damping system also provides a more efficient sealing system between the gate when in a closed position with the box of the truck.

    Abstract: An entryway system includes an elongated threshold assembly and a pair of plastic jamb boots attached to the ends of the threshold assembly. The jamb boots have flat level upper surfaces and a pair of jambs having square-cut bottoms are secured to the jamb boots and extend upwardly from the threshold assembly. A head jamb completes a door frame. The jamb boots are formed with integral drains that receive water from within the threshold cap channel of the threshold assembly and direct it away from the entryway. Stops are provided in one embodiment at the bottoms of the weather strip kurfs to position the bottom ends of weather strips above the sill of the threshold to prevent weather strip wicking and consequent leakage in wind-blown rains.

    Abstract: An adjustable rolling type boxcar door has a main panel and a telescoping adjustable panel at its bottom for adjusting the overall height of the door to fit a variety of door openings. The width of the door may be also adjusted by positioning a spark strip either closer or further away from the inside edge of the door opposite the closure mechanism. A pair of double roller, pivotally mounted bogeys are mounted in the adjustable panel and support the door from a door track mounted to the side of a boxcar. The double roller bogeys provide an improved traverse mechanism for supporting the considerable weight of a boxcar door and carrying it across what may be an uneven and rough track.
