Abstract: The invention is directed to a skid plate and a method for attaching the skid plate to the bottom surface of a pre-hung door assembly to improve wear and moisture resistance. The skid plate includes a first side having a first shaped portion configured to conform to the bottom end of a first doorjamb arrangement and a second side having a second shaped portion configured to conform to the bottom end of a second doorjamb arrangement. The method for attaching the skid plate to the pre-hung door bottom surface includes applying an adhesive to bond the skid plate to the bottom surface, positioning the skid plate so that the first shaped portion and the second shaped portion align with their respective doorjamb ends, engaging tabs against the frame side surface to the doorjambs, and driving fasteners through the skid plate and tabs.

Abstract: A pressure vessel, such as a bench top sterilizer, including a pressurizable chamber housing having an interior for receiving items to be sterilized. The chamber housing includes an access opening and the sterilizer or pressure vessel includes a door with hinge structure facilitating door movement between an opened condition, a latch condition and a latched and sealed condition. A seal is connected with at least one of the chamber housing and the door and is disposed in sealing engagement around the access opening when the door is in the latched and sealed condition. After latch structure on the door is initially actuated by a user, a motorized drive mechanism with a rotatable output connects with the latch structure such that rotation of the output moves the door from the initially latched condition to the latched and sealed condition.

Abstract: Window drain comprises, in general, a base having a horizontally extending lower surface and a sloping downwardly and outwardly upper surface. To the base are connected: a front flange, an upstanding rear rib, an end flange at each end, window supports and spacers attached on the front flange. In one embodiment, the window drain is made for a window of a specific width. In another embodiment, the window drain, is versatile so it can be used for windows of different widths. In a third embodiment, the window drain can be made, in situ, for different window widths.

Abstract: A weather strip is attached to the periphery of a plate and a frame. A hollow space is formed in the weather strip. A first groove is formed in the weather strip to engage the plate. A through hole connects the first groove to the hollow space. A drain hole extends downward from the hollow space. Water sometimes enters the first groove, and the through hole and the drain hole drain this water. The arrangement of the various parts facilitates extrusion and simplifies the manufacturing process.

Abstract: Sealing arrangement for a gap (3) between adjacent cover edges of two adjustable cover elements (1, 2) which lie behind one another in their closed position, i.e., cover elements of a motor vehicle sliding roof, sliding and lifting roof, spoiler roof, louvered roof or the like. In the gap area, at least one sealing element (6, 7) which is elastic at least in areas is attached to each of the two cover elements (1, 2) or to the frame parts (13 and 14) which are associated therewith. The two sealing elements (6, 7) are arranged symmetrically along the cover edges of the two cover elements (1, 2), and the two sealing elements overlap one another with sealing lips (11, 12) to form a seal in the gap area in the closed position of the cover elements (1, 2). The elasticity and shape of the sealing elements are such that the sealing elements allow mutual tilting and/or vertical adjustment movements of the two cover elements.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for shielding a shed entrance, particularly during loading and/or unloading of a vehicle parked thereagainst, comprising: a wall-mounted frame arranged on an outside wall round the shed entrance; a hanging frame which is held in a plane substantially parallel to that of the wall-mounted frame and at a distance therefrom with resilient separating means; and at lest one fabric element extending at least over the distance between the wall-mounted frame and the hanging frame. The wall-mounted frame and the hanging frame are each formed from at least one hollow profile and at least one open profile, wherein the hollow profile and the open profile form a unit.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for protecting a shed entrance, particularly during loading and/or unloading of a vehicle parked thereagainst, comprising: a wall-mounted frame arranged on a wall outside the shed entrance; a hanging frame which is held in a plane substantially parallel to that of the wall-mounted frame and at a distance therefrom with resilient separating means; wherein the separating means comprise an elongate body of form-retaining material extending in upward direction between the wall-mounted frame and the hanging frame and a coupling of elastic material on both ends of the body, wherein each coupling is connected to one of respectively the wall-mounted frame and the hanging frame.
