Actuated By Closure Movement Patents (Class 49/60)
  • Patent number: 9554569
Abstract: A repellant system for repelling nuisances such as insects from an area around a surface such as a table. The repellant system generally includes a base, a first receiver extending from the base, a first linkage frictionally adjustable within the first receiver, a second receiver adjustably connected to the first linkage, and a second linkage frictionally adjustable within the second receiver. A motor in the base may be utilized for automated rotation of the first receiver on the base. An adjustment connector links the first linkage with the second receiver. A pair of mounts on the second receiver and second linkage removably retains a sheet roller which dispenses a sheet which will deter insects and other nuisances.

  • Patent number: 9139072
Abstract: A weather shield is provided. The weather shield may be adapted to provide shelter to an occupant entering or exiting a vehicle. The weather shield may include a plurality of elongated panels which may be pivotably joined together along their elongated sides so that the weather shield moves from an unfolded position to a folded position. The plurality of elongated panels may be bookended by two opposing fabric panels and/or sets of pleated material that may be detachably mounted to a vehicle door and the vehicle's frame so that when the vehicle door opens the weather shield extends to the unfolded position, thereby providing shelter. Upon closing the vehicle door, the weather shield moves to the folded position so as to not interfere with the occupant's comfort nor inhibit operation of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 6552262
Abstract: An access cover for a receptacle fitting includes a cover plate connectable to the fitting at a location overlying a receptacle carried by the fitting. An access door includes a first portion slidably connected to the cover plate for movement between open and closed positions. The access door also includes a second portion having a first end pivotally connected to the access door first portion. The second end of the door second portion pivots to a first position overlying the receptacle in response to movement of the access door first portion towards its closed position, and pivots to a second position at which the receptacle is exposed and accessible through the cover plate in response to movement of the access door first portion towards its open position. Pivot features are formed on the cover plate and/or the access door for imparting rotational forces on the door second portion as the door first portion is slid between its open and closed positions.
