Abstract: A sheet roll forming method includes an uncoiling step for uncoiling a coil by an uncoiler provided at a start of a process line, a straightening step for straightening the coil from the uncoiler to be a flat panel, a piercing step for forming holes for various purposes in the panel fed from the straightening step by a piercing press, a sheet roll forming step for cutting the panel to be a sheet with a predetermined dimension by a running cutter and for successively bending the cut sheet to be a shaped beam by a multi-stage roll forming unit, and a bending step for curvature forming the shaped beam to be a shaped product by a round bender.
Abstract: Separator for cylindrical cell of the outwardly guided type, wherein a sheet material is wound around a mandrel, and starting from the winding step until the insertion of a separator into the cell, an outward support is used that renders the binding of neighboring turns of the separator winding unnecessary, and the separator sheet has an extended portion, with the extension being at least equal to the radius of the separator cylinder, and with this extended portion being wetted with distilled or de-ionized water until the material softens and the winding and the mandrel are rotated and the bottom part is folded back and heat fused to close the separator cylinder.
Abstract: Described is a stackable, heat-insulating paperboard cup having an inner sleeve and an outer sleeve with a gap therebetween. A rolled lip is applied to the lower end of the outer sleeve, which rolled lip is disposed on the inner sleeve. A shoulder is formed on the inner sleeve for the rolled lip of another paperboard cup to be stacked. The diameter of the inner sleeve below the shoulder is reduced discontinuously. The support of the lower rolled lip on the outer surface of the inner sleeve is arranged at the same level as, or below, the cup bottom.
Abstract: On a machine for producing articles, in particular a packaging machine for producing packets of cigarettes, a reel, laid flat on a support, is fed, by means of a transfer device, to a relative unwinding pin fitted to the periphery of a rotary platform rotating about a substantially horizontal axis; the unwinding pin being set to a substantially radial position with respect to the platform axis; the rotary platform being rotated to set said unwinding pin to a vertical receiving position facing upwards; the reel being fitted downwards onto the unwinding pin in the receiving position; and the unwinding pin being rotated, with respect to the rotary platform, into an axial position with respect to the rotary platform before unwinding the reel.
Abstract: Process and device for continuously winding a plurality of longitudinally cut paper webs at machine speed by using a device that includes support rollers and at least one pair of disks associated with each of the support rollers, such that the at least one pair of disks is arranged concentrically with and rotates independently of, its associated support roller. The at least one pair of disks includes a first winding device having a first cardboard tube disposed thereon and a second winding device having a second cardboard tube disposed thereon, such that each of the support rollers include at least one of the pair of disks, which are concentrically arranged with and which rotate independently of the support rollers.
