  • Patent number: 9212875
Abstract: An improved nock bushing preferably includes a bushing body and a stop flange. The bushing body preferably has a non-round body. An undercut is preferably formed under the stop flange. A nock hole is formed through at least substantially all of a length of the non-round body to receive a projection from an arrow nock. A plurality of lightening openings are preferably formed through the bushing body. The stop flange extends from one end of the bushing body. A distance across the largest cross-section dimension of the bushing body is preferably greater than a diameter of a bushing hole in an arrow shaft. In use, the non-round body is inserted into a nock end of an arrow shaft, which flexes the nock end. The arrow shaft will want to return back to its original round shape and thus applies force to an outer surface of the bushing body.

  • Publication number: 20150145206
Abstract: It is provided a game platform which includes a receiving board, a magnetic board fixedly hosting magnetic elements, and means for positioning of the magnetic board in a predetermined position. Each magnetic element has either a north polarity or a south polarity facing the receiving board. The receiving board receives a game card at a predetermined position. The game card has sites for receiving magnetic game pieces. The game pieces are distinguishable in accordance with their magnetic polarity by a non-magnetic distinctive feature, like color, shape, weight, scale, and external texture. For determining its position, the magnetic board has a far state and a close state relative to the receiving board, and a spacing mechanism switches between the far state and the close state. The receiving board and the magnetic board are positioned coaxially around a common axis, around which magnetic board is free to rotate.

Abstract: A scent delivery system in the form of a scent sampling card in which a fragrance/oil of a scented nature is encapsulated in the form of microscopic beads or scent of scented oil encased in a gelatinous or plastic cell wall, the encapsulation protects the microscopic beads and the scent or fragrance from escaping or migrating out of the card until its intended time of use, and holds both ply closed by bonding to both halves. The card comprises a two ply substrate which sandwiches the area of encapsulated fragrance within. The two ply substrate can be formed of paper stock, or paper stock and another substance, such as a laminate. • Patent number: 4645482
Abstract: A method of preparing a medical bag comprising a pair of heat-sealable soft plastic sheets which are heat-sealed at predetermined heat-sealing peripheral portions thereof, comprising the steps of preparing the pair of heat-sealable soft plastic sheets; coating a 0.05 to 1.5% by weight solution of a silicone resin composition on one substantially entire surface of each of said sheets, the silicone resin composition having at least partial crosslinkability; at least partially crosslinking the silicone resin composition so as to form substantially non-flowable, substantially continuous layers each of which covers the one substantially entire surface of each of the sheets; and superposing said pair of heat sealable sheets with the respective side of each sheet coated by the non-flowable silicone layer in face to face relationship and heat-sealing the peripheral portions of the sheets to provide said medical bag.

  • Patent number: 4536173
Abstract: A method of making cups includes forming blanks of a cup sidewall portion, lubricating the upper inside edge of the cup prior to forming the same into a substantially frusto-conical configuration by sealing its opposite edges and the application of tools which curl and then roll the upper edge of the sidewall portion to form the cup rim. The lubricant is applied to the sidewall blank by means of an applicator consisting of an arcuate wick secured between a pair of mounting plates which move the wick into engagement with each blank between the die cutter and the cup forming stations.

  • Patent number: 4362526
Abstract: This invention is a novel plastic bag and method of making it with a handle that extends upward through a folded-back top compartment, and the end of a front of the bag has a pocket with a similar folded-over top edge of the back of the bag. The bags of this invention are made from a continuous sheet, preferably a roll of plastic web that has its opposite side edges folded inwardly along opposite edges of the web to make the folded edges at the front and back sides of the bag. The web is then folded along its longitudinal center region with a gusset that forms the bottom of each bag. The bags have surfaces that are welded together to join areas of the front and of the back where necessary to weld plastic areas together, and certain areas do not weld where the plastic sheet is coated on areas that prevent heat applied to the plastic from fusing together.
