  • Patent number: 10966539
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a reciprocating device which includes a base, a moving frame, a shaking unit, an adjustment unit, and a driving unit. The moving frame can reciprocate relative to the base. The shaking unit has a shaking assembly and a driven assembly. The shake of the shaking assembly enables the driven assembly to move, and the movement of the driven assembly enables the moving frame to reciprocate relative to the base. The adjustment unit has an adjustment assembly and a power member. The power member drives the adjustment assembly to change the position thereof, and the positional change of the adjustment assembly alters the way that the shaking assembly shakes to adjust the reciprocating range of the moving frame. Therefore, the moving frame of the present invention can reciprocate and the reciprocating range of the moving frame can be adjusted according to the user's preference, so that the present invention can help a user sleep and improve sleep quality.

  • Patent number: 10045903
Abstract: In one example, we describe a method and system for infant's development, which is a disc system, with various combinations and extensions. The brain is the only organ that constantly reorganizes itself based on experiences or lack thereof. Babies are born with millions of neurons. Through a process called “pruning”, certain ‘circuits’ are fine-tuned through repeated practice and stimulation. This occurs from birth, throughout early childhood. The purpose of the SensiMo Disc is to provide an infant, e.g., typically, up to the 25 lbs. and/or 29 inches long, sensorimotor stimulation, while lying in a prone or supine position, with minimal active movement of the head or extremities. As the child lays supine or proneon, on the SensiMo disc, the child's tactile, vestibular, and proprioceptive systems are stimulated. This helps develop the child's sensorimotor system. Many other variations and combinations, plus advantages, are discussed.

The technical result is achieved in that the patient is placed in a right lateral recumbent position on an inversion table with their legs bent at the knees and the thighs spread at 30-60 degrees. The patient is secured by the pelvis with the aid of a soft securing device. The parameters of a cycle of oscillatory movements to be performed by the inversion table as the head part of the table is lowered or raised, i.e. variable angles of rotation about the longitudinal and transverse axes of the table, the oscillation frequency of the table and the maximum angle of inclination of the head part of the table, are set using an operating console.

Abstract: An automatic bassinet rocking device imparts a rocking motion to a bassinet or rocking crib. A housing is supported above the rocker base of the bassinet on adjustable legs so that the device straddles the curved rocking base. A reciprocating rod descends from the housing and attaches to a strap or clamp at an anchor point on the rocker base. An oscillatory drive inside the housing imparts a reciprocating motion via the reciprocating rod onto the rocker base.

  • Patent number: 8307475
Abstract: A bassinet for mounting on a play yard frame is supported to provide a swinging movement of the bassinet relative to the play yard. The bassinet is suspended from four detachable connector mounts that slide over the upper frame member of the play yard frame by three flexible support members and a single rigid support member that is operatively connected to a motor housed within a motorized connector mount to drive the swinging motion for the bassinet. The movement induced into the bassinet is controlled by the four support members to keep the bottom surface of the bassinet at a horizontal orientation throughout the swinging movement. The bottom board of the play yard is formed in segments which can be reconfigured to fit in the bassinet. The end segment can be folded below the remaining segments, or in the alternative removed, to affect the reconfiguration for the bassinet structure.

  • Patent number: 8239984
Abstract: A variable motion infant seat includes: a vertical reciprocating assembly comprising a first motor for providing vertical motion; a horizontal reciprocating assembly coupled to the vertical reciprocating assembly and comprising a second motor for providing horizontal motion; and a support device coupled to at least one of the vertical reciprocating assembly and the horizontal reciprocating assembly. The first motor and second motor are run at a substantially constant speed, thereby causing the vertical reciprocating assembly and horizontal reciprocating assembly to move the support device in at least one motion profile.

  • Patent number: 7971296
Abstract: Stimulation actuators that exert any desired movements on the underspringing arrangement. The underspringing arrangement has lifting members (11) that are mounted elastically by means of elastic elements (14). The elastic elements (14) are arranged such that at least a main direction of work extends at an angle with respect to the direction of the movement of the lifting member. In this way, the lifting member (11) can have a particularly low overall height. The supporting surface of the underspringing arrangement can be moved up and down by the lifting member (11) and the elastic element (14), thereby permitting an individual stimulation and movement of a person lying on the mattress.

  • Patent number: 7971885
Abstract: A method of rocking a wheeled infant carrier (30) comprises using a rocking device (10) having a pair of discrete units (12,14). Each unit has a ground-engaging base (18a,b) and a platform (16a,b) supported thereon through bearings for movement relative to the base in a first direction. A drive one (12) of the units has a motor in a housing (20) arranged to drive the platform (16a) of the drive unit relative to its base back and forth in said first direction. A first wheel (34) of the carrier (30) is placed on the drive unit and a second wheel (32) on the second, slave unit (14), with the axes of rotation of the wheels being arranged parallel said first direction. The motor is operated to rock that end of the carrier that is supported by those wheels from side to side.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a system for providing cyclic motion includes a magnetic drive having an electrically conductive coil defining a bore and a magnetic member movable through the bore. A control provides current to the coil and selectively reverses the direction of the current to move the magnetic member through the bore. In another embodiment, the system includes a counterbalance. The counterbalance includes a biasing member for reacting against a load applied to a support, and a lever arm coupled to the biasing member for varying a preload of the biasing member. In another embodiment, the magnetic drive and the counterbalance may be incorporated into an apparatus for reciprocating a person.
