Sliding And Pivoted Frame Patents (Class 5/147)
  • Patent number: 11485271
Abstract: An adjustable bed system for recreational vehicles, with independently reconfigurable support platforms that can be quickly adjusted to different elevations or folded and secured into a space saving, stowed position. Each independent platform utilizes a cantilevered design that permits the platform to be self-supporting without the need for any secondary supports above or below the platform. The system includes provisions for quickly attaching and detaching the platforms from a number of available attachment points. Each platform is equipped with a means of self-alignment for ease of operation when moving platforms from one elevation to another. Each platform can be attached across from another platform at the same elevation, staggered at differing elevations, and more than one platform can be used simultaneously in a stacked bunk arrangement.

  • Patent number: 9549618
Abstract: The present invention is a folding bed that is embedded into a filing cabinet. The folding bed comprises of three folding sections pivotably connected to each other to be sized to fit vertically into the compartment of the filing cabinet. The folding bed including a pull-push assembly to pull the folding bed out of the cabinet and a rotation system to rotate the folding bed from a vertical position into a horizontal position and reverse. When the door, which looks like a combination of two drawer doors, is opened, the folded bed is easily slid out of the cabinet and rotated to the right or left direction depending on the position of the cabinet proportional to a wall or other obstruction and opens the foldable bed in a horizontal position and retracts the foldable legs to support the bed on the floor.

  • Patent number: 9468305
Abstract: A folding bed for storage within a cabinet has a flat platform made from a front panel and an inside front panel. Rear extension panels are hingedly attached to the rear face of a drawer such that in the closed cabinet position the rear extension panels are parallel to the rear drawer face and moveable when in the open bed position to be parallel with the side drawer faces. The cabinet sides and the cabinet top have hinges to permit opening up the upper structural section. A method of transforming an apparatus from a cabinet to a bed pulling out a base drawer involves unfolding panels to form a platform out of a front panel, an inside panel and a cabinet floor, unfolding a mattress from within the apparatus onto the platform, and unfolding side panels to reduce visible obstructions.

  • Patent number: 8413268
Abstract: According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a rest arrangement is provided, comprising a first support element and a lying-down facility. The lying-down facility comprises a first fastening region which in turn comprises a first fastening element and a second fastening element. The lying-down facility is affixed to the support element with the use of the first and the second fastening elements. The lying-down facility is slidable or pivotable between a first state in which the lying-down facility is arranged so as to be essentially horizontal, and a second state, wherein the transition between the first state and the second state takes place as a combined rotational movement and translational movement.

  • Patent number: 5940911
Abstract: Disclosed is a multi-functional bed structure which includes a main operational control unit and a bed portion. The main operational control unit includes an elevating mechanism which can be controlled to cause the bed portion to move up and down or forward and backward reciprocatingly in different selected manners. The bed portion may be a roller type or a non-roller type. A roller type bed portion includes a chassis structure below a mattress-supporting bed frame provided with roller rails. A lifting mechanism is mounted on the chassis structure to lift or lower the bed frame by engaging rollers connected to a top of the lifting mechanism with the roller rails on the bed frame. A raising mechanism is mounted below the bed frame to raise different parts of the mattress as needed by the user. The elevating, the lifting, and the raising mechanisms all can be operated in three different control manners, namely, manual, displacement range, and random controls, so that the bed portion may be shifted rhythmically.
