Abstract: A sliding mattress accessory is used with an existing mattress support system coupled to an RV slide-out. The accessory includes a secondary deck with a fixed head section, a long deck section and a hinge. The system also includes two long sliding rails longitudinally aligned and mounted to the secondary deck's bottom surface and the primary deck's top surface used with the existing mattress support system. The system includes at least one support mounted on the top surface of the primary deck that supports the fixed head section. The two sliding rails and the fixed support are the same height so the entire secondary deck is elevated approximately 3 inches above the primary deck. A lock mechanism prevents the secondary deck from moving longitudinally over the primary deck. When assembled, the secondary platform is aligned and registered over the primary deck, and a mattress is placed over the secondary deck.

Abstract: An adjustable bed system includes first and second frames; a back lifting assembly having a back lifting bracket pivotally connected to the first frame and a back lifting actuator pivotally connected between the back lifting bracket and the first frame for operably driving the back lifting bracket to pivotally move in an upward or downward rotating direction relative to the first frame; a leg lifting assembly having a leg lifting bracket pivotally connected to the second frame structure and a leg lifting actuator pivotally connected between the leg lifting bracket and the second frame for operably driving the leg lifting bracket to pivotally move in an upward or downward rotating direction relative to the second frame; and a foldable connection mechanism connecting the first and second frames such that the first and second frames are pivotally foldable relative to one another at the connection mechanism.

Abstract: A foldable bed includes first and second base frames, first and second rods fixed respectively to the first and second base frames, a first support frame mounted turnably to the first base frame, a first jack member coupled between the first rod and the first support frame for driving movement of the first support frame, and at least one reinforcing unit. The reinforcing unit includes a first reinforcing plate mounted on one of the first and second rods. When the first and second base frames are in an unfolded position, the first reinforcing plate is brought into abutting engagement with the other one of the first and second rods so as to distribute a pressure from the first jack member to the second base frame through the second rod.

Abstract: A foldable mattress support includes a headboard, a central hinge portion and first and second portions of a bedboard frame. The first and second portions are pivotally attached to the central hinge. A longer first strut is pivotally attached at a first location to a side bar of the first portion and at a third location to a post of the headboard. A shorter second strut is pivotally attached at a second location to the side bar and at a fourth location to the post. The second location is closer to the head end of the first portion than is the first location, and the fourth location is closer to the top of the post than is the third location. The struts rotate the headboard from an unfolded state that is perpendicular to the first portion down to being parallel and adjacent to the first portion in a collapsed state.

Abstract: Disclosed are supports, folding mechanisms and foldable supporting frames. A foldable supporting frame includes a plurality of bent bars, folding mechanisms and supports. The bent bars are connected to each other by the folding mechanisms and the supports to form upper and lower frames of the foldable supporting frame. The foldable supporting frame can be folded and unfolded by rotating any one of the bent bars. When unfolded, the supports hold the upper frame in place and keep it flat and stable. When folded, the folding mechanisms and the supports allow the bent bars to move toward each other and fold onto each other. The folded supporting frame is compact and of a regular shape, making it easier to handle, package, store, and transport.

Abstract: A baby carriage has lateral walls along its seat section. These lateral or side walls are divided into first and second side wall panels (50, 51) which are normally contiguous with each other to extend longitudinally of the baby carriage when the carriage is unfolded. The first and second panels are turnably interconnected by a pivot shaft (13) positioned between the upper and lower edges of the side walls so that the panels of a pair are displaceable relative to each other axially of the pivot shaft when the panels are rotated. When the first and second panels are turned around the axis of the pivot shaft, they partly overlap each other while they are guided by spirally inclined surfaces (81, 88) formed around the pivot shaft and inclined surfaces (82, 90) formed on end edges of the side wall panels for folding these panels simultaneously with the folding of the baby carriage.
