Abstract: A mattress bag assembly includes a bag that is selectively be positioned around a mattress. A first barrier unit is coupled to the mattress to pose an obstacle for the bed bugs thereby requiring the bed bugs to crawl over the first barrier unit. The first barrier unit includes a first adhesive to adhere to the bed bugs when the bed bugs crawl over the first barrier unit. Thus, the bed bugs are inhibited from accessing a person lying on the mattress. A second barrier unit is coupled to the mattress to pose an obstacle for the bed bugs thereby requiring the bed bugs to crawl over the second barrier unit. The second barrier unit includes a second adhesive to adhere to the bed bugs when the bed bugs crawl over the second barrier unit. Thus, the bed bugs are inhibited from accessing a person lying on the mattress.

Abstract: An easily assembled bracket, adapted for being installed at an edge of a bed frame for retaining a mattress on the bed frame includes a fastener and a retainer. The fastener has two wings booth located on an imaginary plane, and a convex protruded from the imaginary plane. A passage is provided between the convex and a top surface of the bed frame. The retainer has an inserting portion detachably inserted in the passage, two stop portions extending from the inserting portion in two adverse directions respectively and abutted against an end of the convex, two extending portions extending from the two stop portions respectively, and at least one retaining portion connected with at least one of the extending portions for being abutted against a side of the mattress.

Abstract: A bracket, which is adapted for retaining a mattress, includes two hinge bases for being mounted on a bed frame, two rotating members and a connector. Each of the rotating members has a pivot and a first coupling portion extending from the pivot and being substantially perpendicular to the pivot. The pivots are respectively connected with the hinge bases rotatably. The connector has a transverse portion and two second coupling portions respectively provided at two ends of the transverse portion and coupled with the first coupling portions. As a result, the connector can be easily dismounted from and mounted to the rotating members. When the connector is dismounted from the rotating members, the bed frame is conveniently wrapped and transported.

Abstract: An easy-installable bracket for retaining a bed mattress is provided. The bracket is adapted to be disposed on a bed frame having a head portion and a feet portion. The bracket includes two seats and a bracket member. Each of the seats has a bottom plate for fixed at the feet portion of the bed frame, and an arcuate portion extended from the bottom plate. Two passages are respectively defined between the arcuate portions of the seats and the feet portion. The bracket member has a vertical portion, two front-extending sections respectively extended from two bottom ends of the vertical portion toward the head portion of the bed frame, and two parallel rear-extending sections respectively extended from distal ends of the front extending sections toward the feet portion. The rear-extending sections are slidably received in the passages respectively.

Abstract: A body support assembly includes a body support having a head portion, a middle portion, and a foot portion. The body support assembly also includes a foundation underlying and supporting the body support proximate an edge of the body support at one of the head and foot portions, and a bracket coupled to the foundation and slideable between first and second positions at different distances with respect to the edge of the body support.

Abstract: A mattress retainer for use with adjustable beds. The mattress retainer can be secured to an upper surface of a mattress support, between the mattress support and a mattress positioned thereon. In one embodiment, the mattress support is configured to engage a taped edge border of the mattress to thereby constrain movement of the mattress relative to the mattress support when the mattress support is articulated to raise and/or lower various portions of the mattress. The mattress retainer includes a channel formed on an outboard edge for receiving the taped edge border of the mattress. The taped edge border can be clamped within the channel to thereby fix the position of the mattress relative to the mattress support.

Abstract: A lightweight childbed includes a supporting panel including a first layer having a tension surface and a second layer overlapped with the first layer to define an edge holder therebetween, at least a side panel including a first sheet having a tension portion and a second sheet overlapped with the first sheet to define a receiving groove therebetween, and a bed frame including a boundary flame defining a central main window and adapted to be fittedly received in the edge holder so as to mount the first layer covering the main window to form the tension surface, and at least a side frame, which is mounted on a longitudinal side of the boundary frame, defining a central side window and adapted to be fittedly received in the receiving groove so as to mount the first sheet covering the side window to form the tension portion.

Abstract: A bunk front (10) is disclosed for use with a bunk (12) in a vehicle such as a tractor. The bunk front (10) is formed of an extrusion (22) with a first portion (24) and a second portion (28). The first portion (24) has an upper section (32) and a lower section (34) forming an opening therebetween (26). The first portion (24) is secured on the front end of the bunk (12) by a series of teeth (40) on the first and second sections (32, 34), the wedging of the sections and, preferably an adhesive as well. The second portion (28) forms a step (30) which can be either covered by or exposed by a covering (64) depending on whether the bunk front (10) is to be utilized as a step or not.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a mattress retention bracket for an adjustable bed to prevent an associated mattress from sliding laterally thereon. The mattress retention bracket in a preferred embodiment of the invention is a generally U-shaped member defined by a bight portion and a pair of legs with each leg having first and second end portions normally offset from each other. Terminal ends of the legs are secured to an underside of a mattress supporting member and first end portions and a bight portion of the U-shaped member lie contiguous peripheral edges of the mattress supporting member and the mattress to prevent relative shifting therebetween as a user/patient ingresses or egresses the bed. In lieu of the latter, another mattress retention bracket is substantially of a T-shaped configuration defined by an arm and a depending leg with the leg having first and second end portions defining an angle generally normal therebetween.

Abstract: A bed mattress is constructed so that its opposite sides have marginal inclined surfaces which converge to form a relatively shallow truncated rectangular wedge portion on each side of the mattress for self-centering nested engagement in a similarly tapered cavity of a foundation for the mattress. The mattress may be of the innerspring type or may consist of a foam rubber slab. The mattress foundation can be framed and padded or may be formed from rigid foam plastics material.

Abstract: A universal, convertible, padded end cap for a water bed railing permits the joining of a supplementary end rail to any of a number of available padded water bed side rail designs providing in each case a smooth, decorative, functional corner joint and seal. This cap has significant strength for retaining the rails in a rigidly locked position relative to one another during use of the bed, resisting the forces imposed by persons climbing into and out of the bed across the padded rails; it also provides a decorative and pleasing appearance, matching that of the end rails used. The cap, which is included with the padded end rail in construction, is a mitered, sewn fabric extension from a padded end rail, being designed to match in appearance the end rail the side rails being sealed to the side rails by using a series of sequence of fasteners, which, together with the overall cut of the convertible cap, creates a tight, secure, yet flexible continuous corner joint between the side and end rails.

Abstract: An adjustable retainer bracket for retaining a bedding foundation such as box springs on a pedestal bed base having spaced side rails and cross slats connected between the side rails, includes a retainer plate having a horizontal web connected to downwardly extending vertical side legs, and spaced locator holes and a keyhole formed in the horizontal web. The retainer plate is mounted atop a cross slat by placing the keyhole over an upstanding shouldered rivet fixed to the cross slat. The vertical legs of the retainer plate extend downwardly and straddle the cross slat to prevent rotation of the retainer plate relative to the cross slat. A spring locking member having a locking pin at one end is mounted to the underside of the cross rail so that the locking pin extends upwardly through one of the spaced locator holes formed in the retainer plate.
