Abstract: A webbed frame includes a plurality of first and second straps mounted on a frame body to form a net. Each of the first and second straps has two opposite end sections trained on the frame body. A plurality of spaced apart retainers are fixed on the frame body. Each of several adjuster units includes a connector mounted slidably on a respective one of the retainers and connected to a respective one of the first and second straps. An adjusting bolt threadedly engages and extends through the connector, and has an abutting end that abuts against the frame body such that rotation of the adjusting bolt results in concurrent movement of the connector and the respective one of the first and second straps so as to adjust tension of the net on the frame body.

Abstract: A sofa sleeper foldable sofa bed assembly having pivotally interconnected head, body, intermediate and foot frame sections each including a pair of opposed side rails. The frame sections are extendable to form a bed and foldable to form a sofa seat. The frame is supported laterally by at least one generally U-shaped cross brace which is biased in an upwardly raised position by at least one resilient member.

Abstract: A removable support accessory (30) is positionable relative to one or more support bars (15, 16) of a bed frame (12) of a collapsible bed (10) to provide a substantially greater support base and more planar bed and seat support planes (23, 82). The support accessory (30) thereby reduces discomfort that would otherwise be imposed by ridges, buckets, and rolling caused by sagging cables (20, 22) and the narrow support bars (15, 16). The support accessory (30) includes a longitudinal unit (34) having substantially rigid sections (38, 40) and nonrigid sections or hinges (46) that permit support accessory (30) to be compactly folded for storage. The support accessory (30) also includes a substantially rigid central unit (36) that extends the length of the nonrigid section (46) to provide continuous support along the length of the longitudinal unit (34).

Abstract: A mattress is supported on a flexible deck which is surrounded by and connected to a foldable frame. A back section of the frame is movable between a horizontal sleeping position and a vertical seating position.A supplemental back spring is attached to the frame and has a flex wire section and a collapsible section. The flex wire section provides horizontal support to the mattress in the seating position, and the collapsible section of the spring resists hammocking or sagging of the deck when the mattress is in the sleeping position.

Abstract: A chaise lounge includes an adjustable strap extending lengthwise for varying the support provided to a user or users of the chaise lounge. The chaise lounge is sufficiently wide to accommodate two adults either sitting or lying side by side. Diagonal side-braces are used for providing sufficient structural strength to support the two adults and maintain the frame against the tension of the support strap.
