Abstract: A seat usage prevention device is disclosed. The seat usage prevention deice includes at least one device component being configured to interact with one or more seat components of a first seat. The device component is configured to prevent usage of at least one of a seat pan or seatback of the first seat. The device component further separates a second seat from at least a third seat, wherein the third seat is proximate to at least one of the first seat or the second seat. The seat usage prevention device may include a device component that further includes a cushion, a base, an amenity console, or a vertical separator, or combination thereof.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a pillow divider device primarily comprised of a body that is further comprised of at least one base, at least one vertical wall member and at least one cover. In the preferred embodiment, the base is triangular in shape and the vertical wall member is rectangular in shape. The vertical wall member may be inseparably or removably attached to the top surface of the base. The base and vertical wall member are further enclosed by an outer surface. The base may also have at least one weight or can be filled with water such that it becomes stable and difficult to move. The device can be placed between two partners who are sleeping, wherein the shape of the base and vertical wall member prevent any air exhaled by one partner from contacting the other partner.

Abstract: A bed divider is disclosed that is positionable atop a mattress to extend between two partners in a co-sleeping arrangement. The bed divider includes a support column that acts a support post, two side arms removably securable to opposite sides of the support column, and a divider removably securable to a third side of the support column to extend generally perpendicularly from the side arms. The divider and the side arms can be composed, in part, of an antibacterial and hypoallergenic material, such that the transmission of infectious diseases may be reduced. The divider and the side arms are sized to fit into a pillowcase, thereby providing a protective layer that is removable and machine washable. The divider and side arms are detachable from the support column, such that each may fit easily into a storage bag.

Abstract: An apparatus for use with a seating region having a seat portion and a back portion includes at least one cushioned body which is securable to components of the seating region of a vehicle, bed, couch or sofa for the purpose of securing the at least one body in a stationary relationship with respect to the seating region or for providing a comfortable surface against which an occupant of the seating region may rest. The apparatus is well-suited for use as a partition between the areas of two adjacent seating regions of a vehicle or between a seating region within which an occupant is seated and an adjacent door of the vehicle.

Abstract: A sleep barrier system for separating users during sleep includes a bed that has a top side, a headboard and a pair of pillows. A barrier is selectively positioned on the bed. The barrier extends between the pair of pillows. Moreover, the barrier sequesters a pair of users thereby inhibiting the users from physically disturbing each other during sleep.

Abstract: A method of selectively forming a barrier between adjacent seating regions at which first and second support surfaces are respectively located, with the first and second support surfaces configured to support first and second persons in laterally spaced sitting positions. The method includes the steps of: obtaining a barrier assembly having at least one wall structure that is configured to be selectively changed between: a) a storage state; and b) an operative state; and changing the barrier assembly from the storage state into the operative state wherein an exposed surface of the at least one wall structure is situated to obstruct lateral movement of at least one of: a) an arm; b) a leg; c) a head; or d) a torso of a person in the sitting position in the first region into the second seating region.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing a resting area for an infant or a pet is disclosed. The resting area includes a support structure and a holding structure for holding the resting area over, or at least partially above an adult sleeping area. This enables the resting area to be easily accessible to an adult located in the adult sleeping area. The resting area is optionally movable in various manners, such as vertically, horizontally, rotatably, and swingably. The apparatus may include a horizontal arm extending from a support frame. A sleep divider is optionally provided in order to enable one adult to attend to an infant or pet while decreasing the disturbance to another adult on the opposite side of the divider. Various additional optional features may include providing heating means to a portion of the rest area, a convenient supply tray, lighting means, and various holding structure configurations for convenience and comfort.

Abstract: A device for stabilizing the position of an infant while sleeping features a shell assembly including a base panel having two longitudinal sides and two lateral sides, an end wall extending generally upwardly from one of the lateral sides, two side walls extending generally upwardly from the longitudinal sides, a shell cover comprising an outer surface and conforming generally to the shell assembly, and a removable positioner insert disposed atop the base panel and comprising left and right nacelles attached to an insert base and separated by a distance selected to accommodate the width of an infant placed between the nacelles, to inhibit lateral motion of the infant while sleeping.

Abstract: A movable, curtain-style bed divider is disclosed. In one embodiment, the dividing screen is made from a sheer material allowing an individual on one side of the divider to observe a sleeping individual on the other side of the divider without having to move the divider. In another embodiment, the dividing screen has anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, and/or anti-viral properties.

Abstract: The invention includes a diaper changing station comprising a station housing having an internal collapsible frame and an outer cover. The internal collapsible frame includes: a front frame having a horizontal base, opposing sides extending generally vertical from the base and an arched top interconnecting the opposing sides; a rear frame having a horizontal base, opposing sides extending generally vertical from the base and an arched top interconnecting the opposing sides; opposing collapsible side frames having a plurality of hingedly connected framing rods interconnecting the front and rear frame. The cover includes a flexible fabric enclosing the frame and forms a base, opposing side walls, a rear wall, an open front and a domed hood extending between the arched tops of the front frame and the rear frame and along the entire length of the base; whereby the housing is moveable between an erected position and a collapsed position.

Abstract: A dividable mattress for use in providing separation between the bedmates of a bed. The dividable mattress has two dividers and two parallel slots running substantially from the head to the foot of the mattress. Each divider may be selectively deployed by extending the divider bottom within one of the slots when separation of the bedmates is desired. The dividable mattress may also be used as an ordinary undivided mattress when the dividers are removed from their slots, and the slots are hidden by a flap which extends along the length of the slot and which may be secured to the top surface of the mattress with fastening material. When the dividers are not deployed, the dividable mattress looks substantially identical to an undivided mattress.

Abstract: An adjustably partitioned crib wherein at least one dividing rail is selectively and movably positioned between the two side rails, thereby dividing the crib into two separate areas for holding two infants. Abstract: The present invention comprises a lightweight, portable guard to separate two people sleeping in a common area. The invention serves to block a great deal of the noise attendant to snoring, and to shield to some degree the transmission of airborne spray emanating from the mouth of a sleeper, and optionally to shield light reaching the sleeper. The device is portable, inflatable with air or a similar innocuous fluid, and easily deflatable for compact storage after use.

Abstract: A substantially rectangular, vertically-extending divider made of soft compressible material and having a height approximately equal to the height of the rear backrest of a motor vehicle attaches to the rear seat by employing the rear seat center seat belt. A slot at the back of the seat divider receives the center seat belt such that when secured by the seat belt, the soft material of the divider is compressed against the rear seat providing secure retention. The dimension of the seat divider extends forwardly through the interior cabin space between the backrests of individual front seats of the vehicle, and the width of the divider is substantially equal to the space between the front seat backrests. The divider includes a notch at the front bottom corner which receives and rests upon a center console of the vehicle. An internal rigid planar foam core, which extends substantially across the entire side profile of the divider, provides structural integrity to the divider.

Abstract: A sleeping surface divider that provides a shield between the heads and upper bodies of two people sleeping in one bed. The divider has two parts, a shield (FIG. 2) and a support part (FIG. 3). The shield is made of thick, soft and resiliant material and has a hole (1) cut into it for attaching the support. The support is also made of the same material and is used to hold the shield in a vertical position. The support has a cut out (2) in it which allows it to stand flat on the sleeping surface when inserted into the hole in the shield.

Abstract: A bed bridge (10) for converting a pair of beds (12) and (14) into a larger sized bed comprising a platform member (16) and an elongated protrusion (18) projecting downwardly from the center of the platform member (16). When the platform member (16) is placed upon juxtaposed portions of the top surfaces (20) and (22) of two adjacent mattresses (24) and (26) of the beds (12) and (14), the elongated protrusion (18) will extend down between the sides (28) and (30) of the two adjacent mattresses (24) and (26). Abstract: A confining device couch converter which converts a seat cushion of a couch into a confining device for a resting baby. The confining device includes a sheet portion, which is flat, for covering a portion of the seat cushion where the baby rests. A wedge positioned along a perimeter of the sheet portion provides a barrier so that the baby does not fall onto the floor. An attaching portion connects the sheet portion to the seat cushion so that the confining device is secured to the seat cushion.
