Abstract: A bed assembly includes a mattress that has rails that define an outer perimeter of the mattress and an inner core defined between the rails of the mattress. Springs are positioned within the inner core. A comfort layer including ventilation openings is supported by the rails of the mattress so that the comfort layer covers the mattress and the ventilation openings are in fluid communication with the inner core. In some instances, the comfort layer is positioned so that the ventilation openings are aligned with coil openings defined through the springs within the mattress.

Abstract: An aromatherapy blanket assembly includes a blanket that is positionable on a user for warming the user. A panel is foldable onto itself to form a pouch and the panel is removably attachable to the blanket. A plurality of beads is positioned in the pouch formed by the panel and each of the beads is infused with a chemical scent to release the scent into the pouch. A plurality of infusion lines is integrated into the blanket. An infusion unit is removably attachable to the blanket such that the infusion unit is in fluid communication with the plurality of infusion lines. The infusion unit contains a liquid scent thereby facilitating each of the infusion lines to release the scent associated with the liquid scent from the blanket for the purposes of aromatherapy.

Green tea foam in the top layer of a mattress acts as an antiodorant such that less of the chemical smell of the memory foam is perceived by the user. In addition, the bacteria and mold that would otherwise develop in the moist warmer sleeping environment on memory foam are killed by the green tea additive to the foam. Measurable antimicrobial and antiodorant qualities in the green tea foam are achievable by adding green tea powder constituting less than 2% of the weight of the resulting green tea foam. A neck-support contour pillow is made using memory foam that contains green tea and a green dye.
