Abstract: Vertically lapped nonwoven material is used to provide enhanced breathability and comfort in mattresses by replacing foam material in one or more of, including all of top panel quilts, layers underneath the top panel quilts, and in side blocks which surround spring supports. The vertically lapped nonwoven may provide advantages in terms of cost, manufacturing ease, robustness in mattress design, while at the same time providing the user with a much more comfortable sleeping experience.

Abstract: An inflatable stand up paddleboard, combined with a thermally insulated compartment is disclosed herein. The compartment may be used for storage of food, drink, personal effects, and other items that may require storage in a temperature stabilized medium. As constructed, the compartment and storage of items therein does not diminish the functionality or versatility of the inflatable paddleboard.

Abstract: This invention will provide a lightweight, portable device which will be adjustable and can be used outdoors in all types of environments. The device can be configured into multiple shapes for extra utility while the device is used. For instance, the user can lie flat on the device as well as form the device into a chair. Other features that may be incorporated into the device include a storage compartment, a cell phone compartment, and an air conditioner and the ability for more than one person to use the device. In some of the embodiments the device can be used by two people.

Abstract: A mattress has a cover sewn over a cushioned non-absorbent core and is suitable for use as a resting place or sleeping space. The core is made of a netted material having a plurality of tangled, partially bonded filaments. The cushions can have various densities separated by baffles inside the cover. The cover can have a built in or added back support system. The mattress is a self contained carry case and needs no additional carry bag. A detachable shoulder strap doubles to carry the mattress and as adjustable straps to adjust the back support system. The cushion is manufactured in various sizes for standard outdoor camping as well as sizes for standard indoor bedding.

Abstract: A bed device includes: an operation section that receives an operation input; a controller that controls a movement of the bed in accordance with the operation input; a detector that detects a position of a patient on the bed; and, a limitation table that stores a limitation area set on the bed in association with a limitation content, wherein when the position of the patient detected by the detector is included in the limitation area, the limitation content is read out from the limitation table so as to control the controller in accordance with the limitation content. With this configuration, it is possible to provide a higher safety bed device which can not only notify the danger based on the bed movement but also limit the movement of the bed in accordance with the status of the patient or the bed device.

Abstract: A lounge chair includes a frame including an upper body section, and a lower body section, a support section and support material. The upper body section is operatively coupled to the lower body section to pivot between a plurality of angular positions. The upper body section includes an aperture extending through the support material to receive the face of an individual when lying in a supine position. The lower body section is operatively coupled to the support section with an anterior tilt. The lounge chair includes armrests which pivot incrementally between a plurality of angular positions in a direction transverse, parallel or both transverse and parallel to a plane of a side member of the lower body section.

Abstract: A beach blanket assembly facilitates comfortable relaxation while also providing secure storage of items. The assembly includes a sheet having a first face, a second face, and a perimeter edge extending around the first face and the second face. A pillow is coupled to the sheet and extends from the first face. A first pocket is coupled to the first face. An aperture extends through the first pocket wherein the first pocket is configured for holding a device therein. A wire may extend from the device through the aperture.

Abstract: A purse or bag for carrying accessories and/or personal articles that converts into a pillow is provided. In a first state, the purse or bag includes at least two exterior pockets configured for carrying appropriate sized articles or accessories. In a second state, the purse or bag is turned inside out to expose first and second pillow portions which when zippered, or coupled, together form a single pillow.

Abstract: The present invention may be used for achieving an even suntan on the front portion of the legs and both sides of the legs while sunbathing, to position each leg in the upright position to help achieve an even suntan. Each loop on the apparatus may be placed over the body of each big toe, legs may be separated apart to their maximum length of the apparatus to achieve the upright position of the legs/feet, at that point the sunbather may relax their legs in the upright position which will allow the apparatus to give the legs total support which will not allow the legs to fall to the sides when the sunbather relaxes their legs but in turn this will not allow the sunbather to hold their legs up in the upright position on the sunbather own strength, the sunbather may completely relax while sunbathing.

A covering constructed to form a substantially smooth sleeping surface for an adult human is sized and shaped to be disposed on a top surface of the support frame. A method of assembling a lightweight bed includes arranging runners and slats transversely to each other and connecting the runners and slats together to form a grid. A U-shaped channel member is connected to the grid to form a support frame. A covering constructed to form a substantially smooth sleeping surface is mounted on a top surface of the support frame. A second support frame can be connected to the first support frame by another U-shaped channel member.

Abstract: A modular beach towel with an integral anchoring means designed to help keep the towel from blowing away while in use comprising additional enhancements is herein disclosed. The beach towel further comprises a plurality of grommets located along corner and perimeter areas. Each grommet receives a stake, thereby holding the beach towel down to a ground surface. The beach towel is fabricated of a layered textile assembly with internal cushioning, further having a removable protective waterproof mat and an attachable food and drink holder. The beach towel apparatus also comprises reflective zippered pouches at each corner position that provide storage of personal items as well as aiding in identifying the towel from a distance. The corner pouches may also be loaded with sand or weights to provide additional anchoring.

Abstract: An apparatus for placement on the ground includes a pouch with a removable pillow that is preferably made of a memory foam type of material. A top sheet is formed of a desired flexible fabric material for comfort. The top sheet is extended to form the pouch. A preferred material for the top sheet includes a cotton cloth or cotton blend of fabric. A water resistant bottom sheet is optionally disposed or laminated under the top sheet and is used to keep the top sheet dry when the apparatus is placed on a damp surface. A plastic film or any flexible material resistant to the passage of moisture can be used as the bottom sheet.

Abstract: The luggage attachable cushion device sections are held together with pliable hinges at the folding lines for wrapping the device around average carry on luggage. Two full-length cloth straps tie sections together lengthwise and wrap around an existing luggage. The strap ends fasten together at the top of the luggage using hook and loop. When unfolded, the device makes a bed, a chair cushion, or can cushion other surfaces as desired. The mat is removably attached to the folding blanket that can be used to further cushion or to cover a user as decided. The device may be especially sized to fit around carry-on luggage so that a user can more conveniently travel.

Abstract: A wind-resistant, souvenir-collecting beach towel with hidden pockets has a towel portion, a compartment at one end of the towel portion, an opening accessible from the underside of the beach towel opposite the edge of the end of the towel portion where the compartment is, and a souvenir receiving portion forming a perimeter around the towel portion and having apertures where ball bungee cords and pegs are secured. The compartment has a top and a bottom layer and is attached to the underside of the towel portion and has hidden pockets. Some of the hidden pockets have openings recessed from an outside edge of the compartment such that the opening is not exposed to the environment and is not visible to passersby, and one of the hidden pockets is accessible only through the opening.

In another aspect, the substantially-rectangular flexible mat has at least one end anchoring device coupled to each of the first and second ends wherein the at least one end anchoring device is configured to removably couple to a fixed object. The present invention also provides a method of manufacturing an organizational device for use with a group of children.

The enclosure may have a floor, and may have attachment portions for removably connecting an extension unit having a floor which extends beyond the open end of the space between side portions of the wall.

Abstract: A body support device includes a base section with a wall ergonomically contoured to conform generally to the portion of the human back between the head and lower torso as it reclines in a posture intermediate prone and supine positions. The contoured wall further supports a user in seated and supine positions. The base may also include a cavity disposed at the end of the base that receives an object. A cap connects to the base to cover the cavity and secure the object therein. In addition, a connecting member may be used to connect multiple support devices together at a desired angle. A protective cover may also be used to prevent damage to the body support device.

The inflatable mat is optionally self-inflatable.

Abstract: A shelter is formed by joining a resilient sleeping pad at its edges to a thin, flexible, waterproof, vapor-breathable shell. The sleeping pad, being the floor of the shelter, eliminates material otherwise used for this purpose. An opening in the shell for the user's face, is edged with a sleeve containing a drawstring for closing the opening to the extent desired. A zippered separation in the shell extends from the opening, to provide easy access into the shelter. A canopy, attached to the shelter, is supported above a user by long, resilient wands attached to the canopy material. Various embodiments are disclosed for combining a canopy with the basic shelter, for supporting the canopy above the user, and for providing entry into the resulting shelter.

The panel member has a plurality of anchor pockets. Each of the anchor pockets are positioned proximate a perimeter edge of the panel member. Each of the anchor pockets is for receiving some of the sand from the beach such that the anchor pockets anchor the panel member to the beach when the anchor pockets have some of the sand within the anchor pockets.

Abstract: A pillow with a retractable umbrella, comprising a pillow assembly with first and second ends. The first and second ends have a channel extending therebetween. Fixedly secured onto the first end of the pillow assembly is a supporting assembly with third and fourth ends. The supporting assembly has a cavity between the third and fourth ends to store items within, and has a removable end-cap to access the cavity. Extending from the supporting assembly is an umbrella assembly. The umbrella assembly lying within the channel in a stored position. The instant invention having rotating and swivel means for positioning the umbrella assembly while in an erect position. The invention may be stored in a case for easy carrying and in an open position, allows a user to lay his/her head on the pillow while covering their face from sunlight.

Abstract: A facial support device having a frame and a cushion, or webbing, for supporting an individual's head, when the individual is reclining in a prone, face down position. The device of this invention is ergonomically designed to provide a gradual transition from the plane of an individual's reclining torso to his head, and thereby avoid or minimize stresses to the cervical spine, and to the musculature of the neck and back. This device includes an asymmetric opening associated with its cushion or webbing to permit unrestricted breathing by an individual when reclining in a face down position.

A zipper is provided for enabling the closing of the pocket opening before and after the pocket is turned inside out. A decorative or waterproof lining may be attached to the pocket to form the outside of the tote bag when the pocket is turned inside out. A tote bag carrying strap is installed inside the pocket. A method of making the convertible article is also disclosed.
