  • Patent number: 11759023
Abstract: Provided is a three-dimensional wave generating device and a multifunctional motion bed having the same. A safety device prevents a driven pulley and/or a driven pulley to which an eccentric shaft is coupled from being separated from a coupling shaft. Therefore, operation stability is secured while noise caused by separation or unstable coupling of the driven pulley and/or eccentric shaft in a three-dimensional wave generating device is prevented from occurring, and when a functional motion bed to which the three-dimensional wave generating device is applied is provided, the user can feel a three-dimensional wave more effectively in bed.

  • Patent number: 6301732
Abstract: A bed frame insert including a pair of side frame members for supporting the bed, one end of the pair of side frame members being pivotally supported to the bed frame, at least one cross frame member extending between and interconnecting the pair of side frame members, at least one leg member secured to the cross frame member, and a pair of elevating posts for inclining the pair of side frame members relative to the bed frame during use, the pair of elevating posts being removably secured to the pair of side frame members proximate to another end of the pair of side frame members. The leg member is adapted to contact and be supported by an adjacent floor to thereby aid the pair of side frame members in supporting the bed. In one embodiment, one end of each of the pair of side frame members are pivotally mounted to the bed frame and the pair of elevating posts are also removably secured to the bed frame.

  • Patent number: 6138305
Abstract: A bed frame insert for attachment to a bed frame to allow a bed supported on the bed frame insert to be selectively positioned from a horizontal position to an inclined position. The bed frame insert includes a pair of side frame members for supporting the bed which are pivotably mountable to a first end of the bed frame. The bed frame insert also includes a forward cross frame member extending between the pair of side frame members, a mattress restraining member positioned on the bed frame insert proximate to the first end of the bed frame and at least two leg members adapted to incline the bed frame insert relative to the bed frame by pivoting the bed frame insert. To accommodate beds of different widths, the forward cross frame member and the mattress restraining member may be transversely adjustable. The mattress restraining member acts to prevent longitudinal movement of the mattress when the bed frame is in an inclined position.

  • Patent number: 6058798
Abstract: With a device for the infinite adjustment of a telescopic rod for fixing pivotable elements into an open position and returning them into a closed position, and for raising and lowering adjustable head and leg parts of a bed, a couch and an armchair, the invention is directed to making infinite raising possible while retaining the return from the upper dead center position into the lower dead center position after the former has been reached. This is achieved by a toothed rack, a cage-like element and two toothed wheels which run along the toothed rack, are guided in the cage-like element and whose spacing can be moved by the rod from a position locking the teeth of the toothed wheels against one another into a position which disengages the teeth.

  • Patent number: 5771515
Abstract: A bed elevating apparatus for use between a mattress and a box spring that is supported by a bed frame or is insertable within the mattress. The bed elevating apparatus is made of foam or rubber and has opposite spaced apart first and second ends. The first end has a first height and the second end has a second height with the first height being greater than the second height. The bed elevating apparatus also has a top surface that extends substantially in a single angularly extending plane with respect to the ground surface. The supported mattress and the mattress having the bed elevating device inserted inside the mattress have spaced apart mattress first and second ends whereby the mattress first end is elevated above the mattress second end in a single angularly extending plane with respect to the ground surface.
