    Abstract: The luggage and air mattress combination is a wheeled luggage device including an upper compartment for storage of personal items. A lower compartment houses an inflatable mattress, which can be extended from the lower compartment and pumped up for use as a sleeping or lounging platform. A pump is housed in the luggage and connected to the mattress for inflation thereof. A backrest is also housed adjacent the lower compartment and is extracted therefrom for use. Pivotal arms are positioned adjacent the backrest to enhance the user's comfort. A canopy may be removably attached to the luggage to block out light from the surrounding area and add a modicum of privacy. An insulated liner may be provided for use in the upper compartment for the storage of food, if desired.

Each section consists of a rectangular soft cushion of durable thickness and a resilient fabric that covers the cushion from end to end with each section consisting of a zippered opening to allow the removal of the cushion from the fabric covering the cushion.
