Abstract: A mattress system and method according to which a custom mattress is built according to customer-specific parameters. In several exemplary embodiments, the custom mattress includes one or more removable core cartridges and/or one or more removable topper cartridges.

Abstract: An inflatable air mattress assembly for use with a vehicle is provided. The vehicle includes a bed having protruding wheel well compartments, opposed sidewalls, a tailgate and a headboard. The air mattress assembly comprises and inflatable base, an inflatable first support and an inflatable second support. The inflatable base includes a top surface and a bottom surface. The base has lateral recesses formed therein which extend from the bottom surface towards the top surface and define a ledge over the recesses. The base is dimensioned and configured for placement in the vehicle bed with the recesses being disposed over the wheel well compartments protruding into the bed. A front portion of the base is adjacent the headboard. A rear portion of the base is adjacent a tailgate. The inflatable first support is releasable attached to the front portion of the base. The first support includes an inflatable backrest and at least one inflatable armrest connected to the backrest.

Abstract: A U-shape bed is a new design of art furniture structure that includes: a U-shape form base being made from a polystyrene EPS geofoam—super light weight material which provides required strength for support and comfort; a mattress having substantially the same U-shape form and made from memory foam with orthopedic support or other types of materials; and a headboard being made from materials such as a wood, a plastic, or EPS geofoam.

Abstract: A tent assembly includes an awning including a plurality of tubular support members having rectilinear longitudinal lengths and a plurality of couplings for interchangeably conjoining the tubular support members such that the tubular support members define a rigid frame. The tent assembly further includes a mechanism for removably securing the frame to a support surface and a canvas removably positional over the frame for preventing undesirable foreign debris from entering beneath the frame. An inflatable mattress is sized and shaped for nesting on the flat bed of the flat bed truck. The tent assembly further includes a mechanism for selectively inflating the mattress such that a user can introduce and displace air from the mattress as needed during periodic use. The inflating mechanism is detachably engageable with the inlet port and includes one implement selected from the group including a manual air-pump and an electrically powered air-pump.

Abstract: A weight-lifter bench is equipped with a removable body support pad having a multiplicity of body support cavities in the pad upper surface. These cavities mate with rear surfaces of the person's head and torso when the person is in a lithotomy position, e.g. when the person is performing a weight-lifting activity using the bench. The cavity surfaces conform to the body surface contours, such that essentially the entire rear surface of the person's torso is in contact with the pad. The pad provides a comfortable support surface, and an enhanced body support action that tends to minimize the potential risk for injury or fatigue.

Abstract: A custom fit, inflatable air mattress, having a unitary, or one piece structure, that can be used in a variety situations such as in the flatbed of a pickup truck, station wagon, van or the like, and is designed to accurately and snugly conform around the protruding wheel well compartments.

Abstract: A foldable quadrantal corner baby crib including five wheeled posts, a crib floor and top interconnecting frame pieces. The quadrantal crib has the versatility to be placed in a corner of the baby room and is safe in use. Another attribute is the facility of multiple cribs being grouped in a bedroom for multiple births while minimizing the space occupied by the cribs. Only nine fasteners are required for assemblage and disassemblage of the canopy framed crib. When folded, the crib can be stored under a bed.

Abstract: A mattress is provided for use with a step deck having an upper deck, and a lower deck coupled to the upper deck by a deck side wall so that the lower deck is spaced apart from the upper deck to define a recess of the step deck. The mattress includes a lower mattress section having a top surface, a bottom surface, and a side wall. The lower mattress section is configured to be located within the recess of the step deck with the bottom surface of the lower mattress section engaging the lower deck, the side wall of the lower mattress section being located adjacent the deck side wall, and the top surface of the lower mattress section being aligned generally in a plane of the upper deck. The mattress also includes an upper mattress section having a top surface, a bottom surface, and a side wall. The top surface of the upper mattress section provides a body support surface, and the bottom surface of the upper mattress section engages the top surface of the lower mattress section and the upper deck.

Abstract: An air cushion for sleeping in a car includes a plastic lower layer, a plastic intermediate layer, a plastic upper layer, a plastic mattress, and a flannel cloth, having their edge portions fastened together so as to provide an enlarged and comfortable flat sleeping space. The plastic lower layer and the intermediate layer form a first chamber, while the plastic intermediate layer and the upper layer define a second chamber which is separated from the first chamber to preclude air circulation between the first and second chambers having the two chambers inflated for resting the lower layer on the car seats, and with the air cushion having an area covering a driver's seat and a passenger's seat to provide a flat surface on the car seat for sleeping use.

Abstract: Camping mattress having a head section and a foot section adapted to be rolled up for carrying, and being tapered in plan view such that at least one of the sections decreases in lateral dimension toward its outer end and the mattress is wider toward the center and narrower toward the end. The mattress has two sheets of flexible air-impervious material sealed together to form a plurality of chambers, a body of resilient material in one of the chambers, and a valve controlling air flow into and out of the chamber with the resilient material to regulate expansion and compression of the material.

Abstract: A baby supporter and positioner that can be used by nursing mothers and any other person who wants to hold and interact with a baby on their lap while seated. The baby support pillow is wedge shaped to provide for a slightly inclined positioning of the baby and to provide for better alignment of the baby's head to the mother's breast. The baby support pillow has at least one contoured side to allow the pillow to cradle the person's body and provide a firm supportive surface close to the person's body for the baby.
