Abstract: A portable playpen and toy combination apparatus that is operable to provide a first mode and second mode of use for at least one child. The present invention includes a frame having a top support member and a bottom support member. The frame includes a plurality of legs that are configured to be adjustable in length. A wall is secured to the frame and the height of the wall is adjustable changing the length of the legs. The interior volume includes a first bottom superposed a second bottom. The first bottom is releasably secured to the second bottom. The first bottom is a cushioned surface and the second bottom is a woven polypropylene material configured to provide a rebounding force. The frame further has secured to the top support member an engagement member wherein the engagement member is configured to movably traverse along the top support member.

Abstract: A swivel rocker having a swivel rocker frame that in turn includes a rocker frame portion and a swivel frame portion that can induce the three types of motion of swivel or roll, rock or pitch, and spin or yaw. The swivel frame portion can be quickly engaged to and disengaged from the rocker frame portion. Each of the swivel frame portion and rocker frame portion is foldable to a compact form. Each of the swivel frame portion and rocker frame portion includes a hub portion, which hub portions are rotatable relative to each other and lockable relative to each other.

Abstract: An enclosure may be positioned underneath a chair seat to at least partially enclose the under-seat space and may open and close in conjunction with the expanding and collapsing of the chair. In one aspect, the under-seat enclosure is usable with side-to-side folding chairs (e.g., director-style folding chairs), with or without a footrest. Among other things, the under-seat enclosure may include accessory pockets and panels. In addition, the under-seat enclosure may optionally include dividers that sub-divide an interior compartment into multiple compartments.

Abstract: A bassinet with a scissoring frame having upper, lower, and intermediate junctions. The bassinet includes sheeting that is one-piece, that has open and closed ends, and that forms a floor and inside and outside walls. The closed end forms the floor of a flexible wall and floor combination. The sheeting extends in an endless manner from the floor up the inside of the frame to the top of the frame, further extends in an endless manner over the top of the frame to the outside of the frame, and still further extends in an endless manner down the outside of the frame to locations adjacent to the intermediate junctions where the open end of the sheeting is engaged to the frame.

Abstract: A foldable bassinet apparatus includes a bassinet locking mechanism and a bassinet releasing mechanism. The bassinet releasing mechanism is used to actuate the bassinet locking mechanism. The bassinet locking mechanism includes a first hinge component, a second hinge component, an outer capping component and a locking hub component. The second hinge component is rotatably connected to the first hinge component. The outer capping component is rigidly connected to the second hinge component and configured to cap the first hinge component. The locking hub component is slidably located between the first hinge component and the outer capping component. The locking hub component is fully retracted into the first hinge component to allow relative rotation between the first hinge component and the second hinge component, and is further partially protruded from the first hinge component to constrain the relative rotation.

Abstract: A folding cage body includes six groups of fence members and an accommodating portion, wherein each group of the fence member includes an upright pole, an upper moveable pivotal piece, two slanting poles and two lower pivotal pieces, and the accommodating portion is provided in the fence members. The folding cage body can be freely expanded and folded and convenient and easy to move and fold.

Abstract: A mattress configured to form a sleeping surface in a playard is provided, comprising: an air permeable cover; and a frame including a pair hinges; wherein the cover includes a plurality of extensions that extend over the frame and opposing extensions of the plurality of extensions are connected together by a fastener that permits adjustment of a relative position of the opposing extensions to adjust a tension applied to the cover; wherein the cover includes a pair of side segments that are configured to be fixedly secured to the frame; and wherein the pair of hinges permit movement of the mattress between an expanded state and a collapsed state.

Abstract: The present playyard includes an endless frame, an endless sidewall within the frame, and a floor within the sidewall. The sidewall and floor form the shape of a receptacle having an open top and a closed bottom defined by the floor. Each of the frame, sidewall and floor takes the shape of a hexagon. The frame is a scissoring frame. The frame includes upper and lower junctions. The upper junction engages the sidewall. A strap engages the lower junction to a periphery of the floor, an inner portion of the floor, and the sidewall.

Abstract: A playpen includes a frame, a cloth enclosure mounted on the frame and having a movement space, and a protective cushion mounted in the movement space of the cloth enclosure. The protective cushion includes at least one upper covering layer secured on the cloth enclosure, and a cushion body mounted between the at least one upper covering layer and the cloth enclosure. A receiving space is defined between the at least one upper covering layer and the cloth enclosure to receive the cushion body. Thus, when the baby is stepping and moving on the protective cushion, the at least one upper covering layer of the protective cushion will not slip on the cloth enclosure, thereby preventing the baby from falling down.

Abstract: The present invention is an electric hammock for babies that can be activated and controlled electronically. The child can be placed securely in the hammock and softly rocked to sleep, without manual application. The hammock provides a soothing motion that is helpful in lulling a baby to sleep. This idea is especially helpful for busy mothers who do not have enough hours in the day to keep up with all that motherhood entails.

Abstract: An infant-carrier docking station includes a support part and a carrier holder. The support part is disposed across on opposite handrails of a crib frame. The carrier holder is connected to the support part above the crib frame. The carrier holder can hold an infant carrier of a safety seat in a detachable way. A crib includes a bed frame and the infant-carrier docking station. The infant-carrier docking station is disposed across on opposite handrails of the bed frame. Therefore, the invention is convenient for a caregiver to directly move the infant carrier from any place else to the infant-carrier docking station without waking up the baby sleeping on the infant carrier.

Abstract: A child containment system has a child containment structure with a bottom, a perimeter side wall surrounding the bottom, and a connector part carried on each of two opposed inward facing surfaces of the perimeter wall. The system has an infant sleeping apparatus with a fabric panel having a top surface, a perimeter edge, a frame structure carrier near the perimeter edge, and an exposed portion of the frame structure positioned near each opposed end of the fabric panel. The infant sleeping apparatus is removably mounted to the child containment structure with the fabric panel suspended above the bottom of the child containment structure by connecting each exposed portion of the frame structure to a corresponding one of the connector parts of the child containment structure.

The cover comprises in one of its longitudinal sides two windows separated by a strip of fabric and closed by a retractable tulle flap in such a way that the child can sit upright in the cradle with his or her legs passing out of the cradle through the windows and on either side of the fabric strip when the flap has been retracted.

Abstract: A stowable baby changing system including a housing having a mount connectable to a first automobile seat, a sheet extendable from the housing over and above a seating surface of a second automobile seat, a locking mechanism for fixing the sheet in an extended position, and one or more attachments on a distal end of the sheet to secure the sheet over the seating surface, wherein the sheet is suspended above the seating surface in the extended position providing a clearance between the sheet and the seating surface.

Abstract: A support system with repositionable bolsters with a panel of material, which can comprise elastomeric mesh, and bolsters repositionably securable to the panel of material. The panel of material can be retained relative to a bed or other structure or by a frame, which can be foldable. The bolsters, which can be formed with a breathable mesh shell, can be secured to the panel of material by a plurality of extendable and retractable fingers for being received through apertures in the panel of elastomeric material, by at least one expansible structure for being received through the apertures in the panel of elastomeric material and expanded, or by pivotable arms adjustable between generally parallel and non-parallel dispositions. The support system can be used independently or incorporated within a crib, bassinet, car seat, high chair, swing, bouncing seat or support, or any other support structure.

Abstract: A playpen assembly includes a playpen body having a plurality of horizontal support bars, and a hanging bed unit hung on the horizontal support bars and including a plurality of bed sections each having a plurality of sidewalls, a connecting portion interconnecting a top end of one of the sidewalls of one of the bed sections to a top end of one of the sidewalls of at least another one of the bed sections, and a reinforcing rod extending adjacent to the top ends of the bed sections and disposed beneath the connecting portion. The reinforcing rod bridges two opposite ones of the horizontal support bars, and has two opposite ends connected removably and respectively to the two opposite ones of the horizontal support bars.

Abstract: A foldable bassinet is disclosed. The bassinet can be transformed from an erected position wherein a floor of the bassinet is substantially horizontal to ground, and elevated therefrom by a stand, to a folded position wherein the bassinet is compacted into a relatively small size. Using a uni-directional hinge in the floor of the bassinet, and a plurality of over-center locks, the floor of the bassinet can be locked into the horizontal position easily and effectively, without any structure provided directly below the center of the bassinet floor.

Abstract: A cradle includes first and second frames in the form of an inverted “U”, the legs thereof crisscrossing and being connected to one another by sliding clamps in the crisscrossing point. Above the crisscrossing points, the structure has a third frame supporting a basket. The third frame is hinged to opposite points of the legs of the second frame and linked to the first frame so that altogether there are at least three connecting points between the first, second and third frames. An element adjustably joining both parts of the first and second frames is provided beneath the crisscrossing points, the element fixing the degree of opening between the frames thereby regulating the height of the basket.

Abstract: The cradle comprises first and second frames (1 and 2) in the form of an inverted “U”, the legs thereof crisscrossing and being connected to one another by sliding clamps (9) in the crisscrossing points (7). Above said crisscrossing points, the structure has a third frame (3a) supporting a basket (3). Abstract: A portable collapsible bassinet for suspension in a play yard is disclosed. The bassinet includes floor support bars disposed within fabric tunnels in the floor of the bassinet. The support bars each comprise at least two portions that are secured together by a spring element. The floor support bars provide even support for infants disposed in the bassinet. When not in use, the portions of the floor support bars can be disengaged to allow the bassinet to be folded into a compact position. The support bars and other components remain secured to the bassinet when erected and/or collapsed to eliminate the possibility of lost parts.

Abstract: A baby playpen-bassinet combination comprising a playpen and a bassinet detachably mounted to the playpen. The playpen comprises two outer fabric sides with connecting members and four corner blocks. Each corner block is provided with a vertical hole and a vertically extending rib. The bassinet comprises two extension portions with connecting members engageable with the connecting members of the playpen, two supporting rods and four coupling members. Each coupling member has a first portion to be inserted into a hollow end portion of the supporting rod and a second portion having a vertically extending groove. The second portion is adapted to be inserted into the vertical hole of the corner block with the groove engaging the rib so that each supporting rod is supported on two corner blocks.

Abstract: An infant support assembly for supporting an infant using a mesh material to permit free flow of air around the infant to minimize the potential for smothering of the infant. The infant support assembly includes a frame assembly and a mesh material coupled to the frame assembly to form a support surface. Additionally, mesh side rails are provided for facilitating retention of an infant on the support surface.
